@@IRONCLADRC where i live, it’s pretty chill always. However winds are our biggest problem. Rain and boats go well together, as Long as you have somewhere semi dry to charge and tape then up.

I know the feeling Big B 😅...my nephew and I was shreddin them waters in heavy rain with our two Recoil 2 18" a few days ago 🌧😂 ...and I hit top speed at 52mph...WTF... 👀 Well, I did use a "Super 18" Dasboata prop + 4S with 40A ESC upgrade 🔥🫣 Fun times with them small Pro Boats...

West system G/FLEX epoxy is the best for abs/polycarbonate hulls.

Boat seems very stable. Did that 4S battery help out with stability?

I Sanded the water intake on the bottom of the boat smooth I think that helped with its stability.

Wicked runs bro ❤ love recoild 2 18 amazing boat BUT had to swim for hatch 3 times now ... any ides of modding hatch locks to make it secure ??? Someting diffrent than tape as they dont stick well and rubber band just dont run right .. any tips ? Thanks mate

How do you get your recoil 2 to get on plane so quick? Mine cavitates when going full throttle, i have to ease on the throttle to get it to bite.

I detounged the a 632 propeller. Helps low end take off and top end speed

Do you know the KV in your mini dom? My mini mono came with a 14T/ 4000kv motor which I’m thinking is too fast for 4S….just wondering

4000kv, I run a few different 4000kv motors on 4s with no issue. I am turning under 60,000 rpm, and I use smaller props. If the battery didn't come unplugged, I could have run the while battery.. motor & esc stay cool on 4s.

Hi y’all. New subscriber here. Was wondering if 3d printing a boat hull, and adding the electronics and hardware, would be ok or not?

I've seen plenty 3d printed boats, I think the key is to print it in one piece or make the print so you can add reinforcement pins where you join each section.

I enjoyed this one! Mini hulls are awesome. I can put my 20" Mono and all running gear in a backpack, and go to the pond by bicycle (very popular here). The mini Dom is fast! Keep up the good work 👏
