This project is great. I flew RC planes in my youth. This reminds me of a mix of the two worlds. I thinking it wouldn’t be too difficult to connect your front servo to the rear fin also. As one goes down the other goes up. Possibly a future endeavor.

I do fiberglass decks and I use a press after I wet out. It looks like a mini paint roller but with a bunch of washers on the roller.(like ribbed lines on it) This gets out all air bubbles. You roll the press over it until you don't hear bubbles popping. I don't know if this could help you with Carbon matt, I never done carbon just glass matt.

I have found that the plastic used to seal over windows (comes with two sided sticky tape and you use a blow dryer to smooth it out) is particularly resistant to epoxy, doesn’t stick. Just thought I throw that out there, it can be purchased at most hardware stores.

I saw a video of fullsize sailboat building. They used shiny fabric(t shirts) . Vapor barrier and a small shop vac . I'm going to try it one day , it won't be the first mess I ever make

Are you going to use crossing cables for support

I was planning on it, yes.

Nice work B. Is there not a lighter carbon fibre cloth you could use? We used to use 1/2 oz fibreglass cloth for similar applications. And I’d use an automotive filler like Bondo to fill and smooth the cloth. What do you think B? Cool project man. Can’t wait to see how the adjustable wings do.

I recently found a 90gsm fabric but it's like a type of Viel, very thin. I'm using 200gsm cf which is most commonly found.

I actually put mine put mine in a vacuum bag and then connect the vacuum to it and it would have literally sucked around the corners completely to that balsa wing

I have some vacuum storage bags, wish I'd thought about using it.. maybe next time. Thanks
