Ironhead Sportster Bobber Build

This was the bike that started Bay City Restorations! I disassembled this bike completely and had the frame, wheels and other various parts powdercoated. My father and I put the custom old school paint job on the tank. Unfortunately, this bike was built before I started filming for KZbin so I don't have any time-lapse footage but I did take lots of pictures! Nice build man, but I gotta ask.... At this point, why didn't you just buy a carbed Evo sporty? Looks like 90% of the work was just making it look like a newer Sportster

Nice Ironhead Man. IMO these are one of the few Harley's that actually lend themselves to good looking cafe racers. I love that the frames aren't nearly as sloped as the later bikes, and from the center-back they're nice and straight. Did you do anything inside the motor? Cams?

Thank you! I did not open the motor up on this one. I believe internally it is all original, just upgraded the exhaust and electrical system.

The seat is made by La Rosa. It was purchased awhile ago now so I don't know if they still make the same one. The lights and rear eliminator were purchased off ebay.

It mounts nice and secure to the frame. The springs give your back at least some relief from the bumps in the road.
