Hey Jenna and Miguel! Can you do a video on how you taper for your races? I’m kind of stuck about what’s too much vs. too little and so on. Congrats on such a great race!!!!

Great to see you back in action! And thanks for meeting with my girlfriend and I after the race! We’re stoked we made it to your video, those happy campers by the finish line haha. Keep up your great work👏👏

Congrats Miguel! Great job and I can’t wait for more of your comeback journey. I completed my very first 70.3 last week in Wisconsin. It’s been a long journey for me to get to that point and Jenna, you and these awesome videos have inspired me throughout that journey. Crossing that finish line for the first time was a very emotional moment for me. Like you, I’m very content with my finish but I have lots of room for improvement for next year and I’ll be watching your videos for continued inspiration. Thanks

Similar my way... recently had Covid and did a half 2'sh weeks after... swim and bike went okay coming in third to t2 and then it was at like mile 1 I knew it wasn't going to be a good run day... slid to 6th. Also had PF two years ago and Hokas and rest were what worked for me, literally did nothing without my slides or shoes on. It heals slowly and is super frustrating but it did get better. Good luck and enjoy the channel... you've kicked up my creative oatmeal game.

Miguel. I had planter fash a few times and it is the shits. Word of advice. Stop wearing shoes as much as possible. It sucks for a while and is painful but when your not running be bear foot. It will strengthen your arches. Shies and supports are like wearing a cast. How will they ever get stronger if it's always being supported? I did this and it changed my life.

Well great race,,,I ran behind you twice, and you are very fast, so for what its worth, keep up the great energy, happiness, as that I believe is where the true energy comes from:) best of favor to you, look forward to racing with you someday, who knows, maybe next year at santa Cruz, only ran this year, and can see I need more time running,,,will say, swim and bike, are very similar, running, on the other hand, combines mussels, and impact on mussels, so that is the key, you must find the ratio that allows recovery for impact mussels, your case impact on feet,,,after watching this, your swim is good enough, like better to draft, run is or will be with healthy feet, really think bike is where I would focus your efforts:) and bike wont hurt your feet, and as they say, happy feet, well makes for a happy person:) you seem happy my friend, way to be happy!!! Your friend youtube man, I think santa cruz is not only a top place to race, but training here too, also epic, hope to see you back soon,
