With my issues with the old model, plus what i was charged for duty fees bringing it into Canada I was wishing I had bought the OVS. Now that I have this one, it's better than the OVS. Doesn't fix the truck damage but I got a much better product in the end.

I'm considering this awning and I also have an FJ. How's it go when open covering the rear door?

@@damiensimpson9648 the way I have this mounted the with the leg up and secured the door can touch when opening so you have to lift up on the awning when opening. With the leg down there is no issues. I am using the provided mounts, mounted to the underside of my ARB rack, awning in the top holes of the mounts
