Ironman Vichy 70.3 Race Weekend | Cancelled Swim!

Finally crossed the red carpet after 3 years and also did my first (branded) 70.3... even though the swim was cancelled!

I love vichy, Should have been there this year but deferred until 2023. Sucks about the swim but it is what it is. Well done on the race.

Bummer about the swim, did they give a reason? I've used the PH tablets for a while, I really like them. Maybe try a bit of a build up. So, this might even be on their website/KZbin but I tend to have 1 dose during the day before, just sipping. 1 dose before going to bed. 1 dose on race day morning and try and finish that a good hour before the start so plenty of time for a wc visit! Then adding at least 1 dose to the race fuel. + adjust if the weather is really hot..

@@emilysjournal9856 safety has to come first in these circumstances. Nottingham Relay 2019 suffered the same fate and they said the water was outside of what is safe to swim in.
