A day to remember at the first ever VinFast IRONMAN World Championship, Nice.
Unique, historique, legendaire. Nice, France will continue to co-host the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship. The very best female professional and age group triathletes from around the world will descend on the Côte d’Azur to conquer a 140.6-mile quest, linking an ocean swim, technical hinterland bike course and vibrant coastal run.
Race from the Mediterranean to the Mountains in the glamourous French Riviera city of Nice. Marvel at beautiful old town architecture, an azure coastline, and soak up the sunshine as France's most iconic triathlon community spurs you to your Championship finish line.
Hosting the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship women's race on new grounds will test female athletes across different terrains and conditions, providing a platform for consistently brilliant performers to prove themselves undisputed champions across varied race courses, in the pinnacle display of triathlon racing.

How did this highlight the race? It didn't explain how any of the athletes raced or what happened during the race and showed no results, no epic battles. This was a bunch of slow motion race video put to music hoping to make you feel a certain way about ironman. It's a business selling something.

This is just about ok, but Where's the personal touch, some athletes talking, telling their story? Ironman lacks the personal touch and displays yet again its about being a shiney corporation with a shiney promo video.
