BIG PIT filled with Luftwaffe artifacts! - WW2 Bottle digging-

Loads of WWII German Airforce porcelain and more! We went to a former German Airfield and the biggest dumppit I ever saw. There were so many relics there including intact porcelain plates, cups and saucers which are all stamped with the flying eagle and old evil cross. Maybe Herman Göring himself ate his french frites off one of these plates!
We visited this area a few times together with Ricky and Petra, Raoul, Jeff and René.

-Do you report things found to the authorities?
Yes, all nasty things found like UXO's and finds that could be important from an archaeology perspective are reported to the local authorities.
-Do you sell finds?
I am a collector myself so I hardly sell relics. But if I do then I'll post it on the social media pages or think about becoming a Patron, because I'll share finds with my Patrons (check out the Patreon website for details).
-How do you gain permission for metal detecting?
Check out local laws regarding metal detecting and get permission from the landowner. Or hook up with a local metal detecting club in the area you would like to detect and get your information from them. (I stopped responding to questions like this all together, I'm not google..)
-Can I come with you?
No.

I’m from England and while yes we may have many fields full with Roman artifacts and Victorian relics we have zero amounts off ww2 relics , I would be in my element been close too places that ww2 history is scattered all over, it’s one off my life goals to take up metal detecting and travel around places (Germany/Russia/Poland/France) to name a few, and search places where battles and stuff happened so much history out there literally a few shovels under your feet.

I know the Germans bombed the hell out of London, which had to have been horrifying. As there were no battles on the ground in England war relics would be hard to come by.

An amazing spot with so much porcelain! Just awesome that you were able to get a Soviet stamped piece too! The last item, the vacuum piece, might also be an air duct vent that went behind a dashboard or instrument panel. Keep the great content coming Mike! I don’t know if you watch Willie of dirty secrets of Scotland but he’s a bottle digger and metal detects. But he also repairs and rebuilds ginger beers and other stone ware and other objects he also matches the color and paints the repair he does excellent work you might contact him and see if he repairs for other people, especially the really nice pieces. You could watch him for his techniques of course but he’s got a nice channel also. Tell the guys I went and subscribed to all their channels also. Glad I found y’all.
