The same people who ran the series into the ground after FO2 to the point Bethesda had to buy the IP for it to have a chance to survive... Absolute 🤡 pots calling the kettle black, those New Vegas snobs. I remember the game at launch. It was a buggy, unfinished mess with a game world that felt both tiny and big and empty at once. It felt underwhelming and never felt like it gave me much replay value, sadly. To me it was never really a game, just a glorified conversion mod for FO3.

I love how you're fipping out over a "Young" Geckos. You haven't seen the full sized grown up Geckos. Not to mention you haven't seen the poison spitting Green Geckos, the irradiated Golden Geckos, and the Fire Geckos that literally shoot fire out of their mouths. I can't wait to see your reactions to the other creatures like the Night Stalkers, Cazadors, Centaurs, and of course th Deathclaws.

She'll jump out of her skin when she meets a Deathclaw. Cazadors don't seem like much until they hit you and you watch your HP get a chunk taken out of it.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen Trudy get killed in the powder ganger fight. Then again I tend to run into the thick of it and sponge most the ganger’s bullets because I want to end it quick and move on as fast as possible since I’ve played that tutorial so many times.

Or to install the mod that helps NV load better and avoid crashing (as often) cause I remember getting frustrated by it until I installed the mod and was pretty much free from crashing with a few minor happenstances.

Played new Vegas for first time on a xb360 with no net access... on a launch copy 😂 Like 18 months later I got it patched and was like "whoa, this only crashes every 30-40 min now???!!?!" Changed my world 😅

The 4gb, nvac, and other mods help. If you have pc version. I had 360 version also, didn't "crash", but locked it up to where I had to unplug the console

Im currently 100 hours in and only had 4 or 5 crashes. Though i downloaded a few mods to help with stability.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: with the unofficial patches, the game doesn't crash anywhere near this frequently. Search the Viva New Vegas guide for installing a whole list of things that will make the game smoother and more stable. Just don't install any content mods until you've played vanilla once.

If you drink 25 alcohol you get a secret perk and xp. I love this game you can shoot anyone or no one. Speech is awesome. Every faction has positives and negatives. It really shows how you think as a person.

You have to download the stabilty mods to at least greatly reduce the crashing. The game, no matter where it comes from, is NOTORIOUS for not liking current systems. Also, RIP Matthew Perry. Now swinging in that 24k casino in the sky

@@birdytiger the main issue is you downloaded it from online and you're forced to open/launch it through online. When I buys gams I always and I mean ALWAYS buy the actual hard copy of games. Never non of tos downloading crap. The day th take away hard copies of games is the day I stop buying and playing new games. It's all good I've got tons of gams on tons of old consoles that I'll never get tired of playing even after playing hem hundreds of times.

It's not that she modded the game wrong, bethesda games have this little fun mechanic that basically, if you instal even a single mod (sometimes will happen even playing vanilla), it'll just crash, no error log no nothing. So so fun having to remind yourself to f5 every 3 minutes.
