Tax laws can be so complex, and it’s super helpful to break them down like this. Understanding how different policies can impact our finances is crucial for making informed decisions.

2:13 - There is a typo in both the starting and ending amounts of 12% bracket. They should be $23,851 and $96,950 respectively.

Hmmm. What do you think we can do to avoid the expiration of that tax act

TCJA may be extended, expired, or amended. In other words, completely unknowable.

I’m 58 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with above $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify.

Increases in the tax brackets and standard deductions are not inherently good or bad. They merely keep your taxes the same if your income increases at the same rate as inflation.

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

I am fine with standard deduction going back to what it was. It allows us to fund our Donor Advised Fund and get a higher deduction.

How about changes to the Affordable Care Act subsidy credits? Before TCJA, the income limitation was a cliff. Will it go back to that, at the same level, if the law reverts back to the pre-TCJA rules?

Anyone that believe cost of living only went up by 2.5% or less...please raise your hand! The government should have to show what they used as their guideline and where the outcome came from.

Hi Dave: Nice video. There is a typo in the 2025 chart for married couple filing jointly. For the 22% bracket, you have the starting gross income as $96.951. It should be $95,951 if the previous number is correct.
