at 4:35 when you switch to zbrush, how did you polish the model that way? I can't really find a fast way to to achieve this without breaking sharp edges
@3dextrude6 жыл бұрын
you can turn smt off when you divide it the first time and then turn it back on so it preserves the edges. You can also use dynamesh to do that as well.

It looks super great! But I also wonder why you keep some of the polygons that wont be visible, like on the back of the skull.
@3dextrude6 жыл бұрын
+Nikolas De la Cruz Thank you! That's because this is a speed model. In my case that means a model that is made very quickly, not polished or optimized, is not production ready. A model that is made within a specific time frame, for me that's less than 1 hour( although this one took a bit longer than that). For speed models all I care about is having fun without caring much about the model being "appropriate" for a game or any other production environment.

On 1:25 how are you doing that? With the red and yellow lines? Is it a hot key or what is it called?
@dibman1535 жыл бұрын
It's called soft selection, you can just use B for the shortcut. Really helpful tool for me tbh.

Hi, your assets are awesome! Have a question about your smart material. I want to import it to substance painter 2017.3.1 but it says "3dEx_Stylized_Material.spsm cannot be imported as smartmaterial". How to make it work? Thanks and keep doing good job ^^
