Sniper runs incredibly fun IF you get survivalist, since they're probably the greatest abusers of it I had one pop on 5th floor while doing a mostly-sniper run and it was amazing, didn't have to use ground tiles at all

I finished my sniper run today and all i can say is that i got so lucky im afraid i might die tomorrow in 1st floor 1st stage panda came out then encounter gave duck and they both gave items that gives a lot of originium and the shop somehow sold the aspd +5 and +3 per 5 originium at once got the 50% redeploy reduction then i got the range %dmg sniper book for %dmg and +70 aspd also the -30%def and -20%hp and when i got to mouthpiece i got a squad with 10 sniper and medic the whole run somehow feels like a fever dream lol

This is more of a general IS2 question but: how important are levels for e2 upgrades? Like, how valuable should I put a E2 level 30 operator vs maybe a weaker but level 60 one?

I only get E2 if the operator is a 6*, needs the S3 or level 30 and above. Otherwise E1 should be enough

From just what I've experienced, Mate, I'd say it varies, but E2 mainly for skill upgrades, etc. The vast majority of my E2 characters are level 11, with barely any stat difference from E1 max level, but the skill difference almost always makes the difference. Obviously the Mate plans quite a few steps ahead, and exploits whatever resources he focuses on, such as HP here, and if you exclusively use a very small roster, like in his case with only 4 stars, you will have a lot easier a time leveling them all to max, but I'd recommend doing that only for the core few you feel most useful, and otherwise trying milestones of 10, 20, 30, etc for the rest. For example, I use April to assassinate core targets on different maps with her 2nd skill, and I upgraded her 10 by 10 levels until it felt like she's at the right spot to melt as much as she needs before she's out of power, in my case being level 50 and level 9 on her 2nd skill. Boost after that would be useful and even more powerful, but she's already excelling as far as her role goes, and so forth. So yeah, hope this be of some aid.

Levels are not nearly as important as masteries. Unless you have literally no masteries to do, I wouldn’t bother leveling past E2 30 unless it’s required for a module Edit: though I max level a lot of operators out of love (but not really for gameplay)

Levels can get you much further in terms of scaling and stat checking, but it's really depends on the operator in the question. Thorns needs his e2 to function and masteries to become an absolute menace, while Saria can do just fine at e1 max.

If you're using a jaye in your run and you get the -2 cost and plus 60% hp for specialist just throw him at the boss, normally he dies just after you activate his S2 but with the buff he kills him quick and smooth

If you've unlock the class specific starting perk, it will be easier. Like, the one that makes all Guards and Vanguards E2 on recruit is my favorite. Instant E2 Thorns and Surtr really make things easier.

I fr hate that boss. Tried surtr'ing it and it defeated her while being barely halfway its hp :/ its probably because i was on the 2nd/3rd floor and had that enemy stat increase collectible, but nonetheless just a very annoying enemy
