So is it worth the money over a GT?
@gaycarboys4 жыл бұрын
i thought so, but value is subjective. buyers might decide they can to without the extras but still have the same full sized suv.

Lower and slim up the centre console and get rid of the split console lid, get rid of I stop or make it programmable off permanently, full size spare and get rid of 3 rd row...ill buy one

As i say, the cabin is quite obviously nicer, and there is a boot instead of hatch. My previous favourite hyundai/kia was Stinger, but now it might well be G70. KIA management told me a few days ago that the new Sorento will have a much upgraded interior so maybe that is their new direction. Also, we might not see a new Stinger model because sales have not met expectations, especially in the USA.

Mazda manufacturer still thinking that 3er row is for cargo, dont have air condition for that zone, so for spring or summer season that zone is terrible warmer even dont have any usb port for charging in that zone. I used to have the previous model and it was more roomy than present model because presente model spent to much space on engine bay having a smaller engine than previous, i hope next generation solve this problem. Great review, thanks
@gaycarboys5 жыл бұрын
this is true. Some cars have air conditioning vents in the 3rd row but mostly is an afterthought. Interesting you say more space in previous model. I have not driven that one. I feel the 3rd row is really only intended for occasional use. Most people needing serious 3rd row space you buy something like a toyota or honda people mover. Thanks for stopping by

The leg room in the back seat looks acceptable.

it was oodles. We even the 3rd row was OK for short trip, but then there is bugger-all luggage room. the back seat was a nice place to be

I'm the proud owner of a 2019 Mazda CX 9 azami Le and let me reassure you these cars go like a bullet I'm in the process of modifying my brand new car and people think I'm crazy but Mazda provide you with a good blank canvas if you put the right modifications on it this thing will rival the speed and handling of X5 x 7 x 4 x 3 and cost you half as much.
@gaycarboys5 жыл бұрын
i reckon you're right. Also it costs many fewer shekels than the Eurosnobs. Glad you like your car. Greart choice. Try contacting MAzda to see if you can get Carplay/Android Auto put in!

Cons: - Pricey, and not as efficient as the CX-8 diesel on the highways (if you do a lot of that). - Lots of other 7 seaters competing it this class (worldwide - other markets included) that beat it in luxury, comfort, refinement or even off-road capability. - What you did: the looks and the Mazda badge are not that appealing to some. Personally though, I love it and am also a long-time Mazda fan. Pros: - The CX-9 is probably the best Japanese competitor in this large SUV class, as it does " many things right" (agreed), and is also a driver's car (good to drive & good communication from the car to the driver), that offers all the things we Zoom-Zoom fans come to expect from Mazda - while still being luxurious and refined enough. It beats the CX-8 (I tested them back to back) in those fields, has more inner space, and doesn't feel much bigger when you drive it. Enthusiasts like me/us, would almost certainly prefer the CX-9's turbocharged petrol. - A little subjective, but I love Mazda's interiors and careful/smart designs, seats and seating positions, steering and feedback, simple yet effective layout of things and how the safety and drive aids have been set up. This is a difficult mixture to get right, and many other brands have let me down here. - Decently good or better reliability, compared to what else is on offer in this large SUV category. The CX-9 is one of the lightest and most efficient and reliable vehicles in its class, and in most countries I travel to often, they have good second hand values - hold their value well. Their designs (in and out), that are often iconic, unique, and ahead of its time, usually mature well and help it hold its value. Good after-sales service as well in most (not all) countries. Cheers ✌️

I really enjoy the Mazda design evolution! Gotta say tho is there still a market in Oz for this size Mazda ? Isn't there a CX-8 in the pipeline too ?
@gaycarboys5 жыл бұрын
the -8 is sold here already. as i mention in the video, it's between the cx-5 and cx-9. cx-9 outsells cx-9, so i guess there is still a market. SUVs and LCVs like hilux and Navara outsell passenger cars by a substantial amount

You cant review a car and say it has plenty of leg and foot room when you are only three feet tall wearing a size 5 shoe. I do have a cx9 but i am 6'4" and my kids are catching up fast. So there is not much space for them. I love this car but i think i need to upgrade to a Ford Explorer or Expedition or something. Or just get a sports car and they can ride in my wifes Venza..😁
@gaycarboys5 жыл бұрын
the 2nd row has plenty of space with 5-up, but unless you buy a people mover, the 3rd row is always going to be tight. I'm 6' and there was enough legroom for me in all 3 rows. even a ford explorer isn't going to be comfortable for 7 X 6'4" passengers!
