Personally, I am 48 and will finish coursework at the end of 2025. I may even apply for an internship. I would tell my children to bet on themselves so why wouldn’t I do the same. Wishing everyone the best!

I agree with you Bryan. Started studying for CPA last year at 37 and now licensed at 38. It's doable, it's all about how hungry you are for it, I guess. Thanks for the great channel!

Was licensed at 42. Now 43. Family of 6. Wife and four kids. Work in corporate accounting. The license is a backup plan. The journey was tough. Time needed to study and take tests was hard on my family. Pushed through with the help of the Lord and support of my family. If you want it bad enough, you can do it. Put the right people around yourself. Put and keep Jesus first. Grind. It is a rewarding accomplishment. Best wishes to those attempting to get licensed.

Love this! Especially the spiritual aspect of it. My relationship to God plays a key role in having faith when times get hard. All the best.

Hey Bryan been watching your vids for a while. Thank you for the advice. Are there any excel programs you purchased personally or did you mainly learn on the job?
@BryanCarretoCPA4 ай бұрын
Im going to start uploading short excel tutorials you can start practicing with… be on the lookout this weekend

Thank you Bryan. I think I already knew the answer to the question but I just needed your blessing lol. I'll definitely take some time to evaluate my current life situation and determine if I have the mental fortitude to go for it. I think the biggest thing for me is being realistic and deciding if I have the bandwidth and mental strength for it.

Thanks for the video Bryan, what is your opinion on master degrees (MBA's, MAcc) to fulfill the 150 credit requirement for the CPA?

Hi Bryan, I am sorry I do not agree with you . I obtained CPA over 15 years ago but I am jobless now in Hong Kong at the age of 50.
@BryanCarretoCPAАй бұрын
That's understandable but everyone's situation is different. Best of luck to you.

@@BryanCarretoCPA I also obtained a Master degree after work but no one cares about it, at least the boss I met.

I'm thinking of Enrolled agent is there any scope and job opportunities
@GnarshredProductions3 ай бұрын
Yes there are opportunities. Not as well respected as a CPA license but there are CPA firms out there that will hire an Enrolled Agent for jobs that specialize in tax. It is a really good education though if you can pass the EA exam you will be very knowledgeable when it comes to tax law.
