That dragon is killer!. Hey i have a question,i see a lot of videos on you tube that talk about printing supports with pva, but not many showing actual items. I am thinking about getting a roll to print prototypes. still new to the design side and I toss a good amount of prints, and it would be nice to test something out without generating so much plastic waste. so i guess my question is can pva be used to print actual things not just dissolvable supports. cheers
@digidragon12 жыл бұрын
The 6k has been extremely finicky since I got it. The slightest offset in the leveling kills everything, more so than others. It seems to have a more narrow range of resin/room temp than any printer I've worked with. Lots of issues with the FEP being more adhesive than the build plate. This screen seems poorly installed. There are bugs with the raise height. Tons of resin gets stuck on top of the build plate. As others have mentioned: screws. I can't change all the print settings until after the print has started. At least not without purchasing full Lychee. All these things have solutions, it's just so much more work than the classic SE for example.

No sorry if that was not clear. In shipping they have it tightened all the way up. This will not be the case once you first align it to the lcd screen. It should be a one time thing unless you add a flex plate or change out the screen. In those cases you would want to loosen them and realign again.

I'm quite disappointed with my 6k, it is insanely slow - files that printed in 6 hours on my Mars Pro take 20 hours on this thing. I'm getting mostly print failures and unlike all the other AnyCubic printers you can't currently run a RERF file on the 6k so dialling in your settings is a nightmare. The build plate is a dreadful design, you finish a print with more resin on top of the build plate than in the vat and it stays there, why in the name of all that's holy would you add aggressive texturing to a surface that you want to drip clean??
