I like these Cobalts, they're cheap, good on gas, and have decent power for a little 4 banger. Thanks for the video, Jim.

I own a 2008 Colbalt with 109000 miles. The only problems I had is the turn signal switch had to be replaced an currently the AC leaks. The paint is still shiny accept for the clear coat peeling in some areas. I can't afford a new car so this car is for the rest of my life, I hope it will last for another 25 years or so.

I just bought one for $500. It has an electrical issue which I think is a bad ground. I did normal maintenance on, detailed it and hopefully fixed the ground issue. Now I am hoping to sell it and make a few bucks. I might even change the fuel filter.

Try looking at your main engine ground strap. I replaced one with a wire and it fixed every electrical issue I had and the car wouldn't even run before

Hey! Your in El Paso haha. I’ll be moving there from up here in Detroit Michigan at the end of this year. I was wondering if there where any pick and pull junkyards down there like we have here and apparently you do going by the other videos you’ve uploaded. Good news to me haha. Love your videos man you seem like a happy ol fella! The Corolla video was the best thus far to me. Great videos man!

I'm not a mecanic and buy a 2005 chevy cobalt ss, manual trany, 2.0 I think. 109k miles, after a few days not running turn it on but is up and down the RPMs. I noticed black smoke at the end of the pipe, left it on for like 20 minutes, now in normal temp, runs a little better but if I push the gas pedal quick it rpms goes up and down like 3 times and goes back to normal, do you think its something that I have to fix asap or just run it like that? Thank you

I have a 2005 cobalt and it's stuttering and my exhaust is pulling air in instead of blowing out. Turns on fine. Please help
@jimmyjimjims74832 жыл бұрын
When your exhaust sucks in instead of blowing out it means the head gasket in most cases is bad. Are you losing coolant? Def sounds like a bad head gasket
@sethsstuff51102 жыл бұрын
I had a pontiac sunfire with the same 2.2 engine and it did the same thing and it was a bad head gasket

You know whats weird is the guy I sold this car to gave it to his daughter and she still drives the damn thing! Chevys will run like crap longer than a lot of cars will run at all lol. I saw it around town a few times in slightly worse physical condition but still putting around
