Is a 98CC mini bike faster with street tires?
Installed a Carlisle 13x5.00-6 rear slick and a 13x5-6 front street tire on the 98CC Coleman-powered LIL Rascal Lite minibike to see if the bike would gain any top speed with the lower profile street tires.

Thanks, I'm in the opposite camp. I live in the country and need better off road capability from my minibikes. You wouldnt want to do 50mph on our roads...but low end torque and hill climbing...absolutely!

Awesome content, I was saying you should increase the top speed, but I was thinking it would hit the rev limit faster. Drop that rear sprocket size and it would be the same as the larger tires. I have a question, do they still make the v twin two stroke or was it a four stroke and would it work on a mini? Love your channel, I am 50/50 on the performance gains and losses. It really challenges the old noggin and lots of fun.

I think its a four. I think with a welder and a cop saw you could get it to work on almost anything ! LOL

It’s a 15x5-6 tires. Usual found on the front wheels of a zero turn mower.

@@Dontez19 what he used in the video are in fact Carlisle tires for a zero turn or a lawn tractor. I have them on my minibikes as well.
