Great video! I'll get these tires when I need a new set. Rubber ages like milk. It loses elasticity, strength, and grip with more time & heat cycling. The entire tire (haha) dries out and starts to harden, crack, and delaminate. Regardless if they are still round or not, performance absolutely drops off with age. Even if the tread was still new with zero wear, the tire is significantly less capable than when it was freshly molded. The silver lining is that fresh quality tires are almost always a very noticeable upgrade. You'll never regret getting some nice tires, for any vehicle.

Is there a right/wrong way side wise to install the rim or is it the same whichever side you install left vs right?

I usually put the valve stem on the brake side but it will work either way.

Yo I can't stop eating my rear tire. Sprocket is straight with motor / clutch and even tried an 8-ply tractor tire it's just sad that I can't fix this issue. Frame isn't bent I just don't think these tires are made for the speed and road. Thinking of trying air plane tires bc I don't want to die on my little kids mini bike

Tip, keep valve stem out until tire is seated, then put it in for final inflation.

So many of us running around on the ancient but very likeable Knobby treads and even using Turf tires going over 40 mph.....Insanity! Those are the best looking tires you just mounted; bike is bound to handle better. Everyone should be running these on asphalt. They remind me of the SunL tire except these are cheaper; around $40 each.

@@Black66 lol hey thats a 15 tire i had that one it caught a lump idk so i guess it dosent add top end with the bigger tire i guess u need a bigger wheel ? im thinking trying the 10inch modular wheel like diy willy did just try out the front on my motovox im running a 13 inch small street tire it picks up quick but not alot of top end

a small amount of dish soap and water on your new tires will make life easier when removing old and installing new...of course, that is my experience

Thanks! I use 303 Automotive Protectant or something like that if i want to lube up the tires because from my experience when I use water it gets in the wheel and rust the inside. So a lot of the time i will just suffer though it and use nothing.

I do like running a straight chain over a torque converter on the smaller bikes. They are plenty quick with a straight chain along with a lot of top speed. The bigger bikes I like a torque converter because with the tall tires, they aren't that quick with a straight chain. And it's hard on the clutch.

If you have the three-horse on there then the stock ratio is pretty good because the 3 horse doesn't have a lot of torque to pull much more gear. But you can still get quite a bit of speed out of it. @@Black66 I have the 3 horse on now but it is winter where I live now so I am going to wait until early spring to put a predator 212 on. So I was wondering the ratio for the 212

@@soupcansam8957A lot of it will depend on what mods you do to the Predator. If you want it quick and fast then leave the 75 rear and a 12 on the clutch for a 6.25 ratio. Mine did 50 MPH with that combo, and was really quick getting there. Super fun with that ratio with a mild build predator. If you want even more top speed throw a 15 tooth clutch on the with the 75 rerar gear and you will be getting closer to 60 . You can put a universal sproket hub on there and use split sprokets to run a smaller rear gear or just change up the gear ratios with the clutch. Check out my video of the Predator 212 swap. This bike had a 6.25 ratio
