That's another thing I like about my fellow buskers. Unlike certain other musicians playing in other contexts, they uniformally don't seem to get hung up on gear. There are oceans of youtube videos about guitars, pedals, effects, amps and all kinds of gadgets... and some of this stuff has its place... but don't get caught in a loop of finance-equipment desires. I would spend the majority of your money studying music (online, for the price of a wifi connection) or from the right textbooks (very little cost over a period of years). This pays off a lot more than gear. And also, I believe the universe has a way of giving you a helping hand - financially - when you're studied and practiced enough.

Consider upgrading from Street Cube Ex to fishman loudbox mini charge. Superior sound in a much more powerful amp for a similar price. However it is heavier, so get a good cart. I get tons of compliments from this amp.

I use a Roland Street Cube Ex. I busk and power it with rechargeable batteries. I can easily go 2+ years with them so power is never an issue for me. I run my iPad for backing tracks and a guitar.

Great video Tito, so inspiring! And so true, no need for a ton of fancy equipment. I've used the Roland Mobile Cube for a few years now, it's small and lightweight and the sound is very good for its size, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper and less heavy amp :)

My Bose S1-Pro PA speaker is powered by its own internal battery and lasts up to 4hrs. My effects pedals, Ipad, phone are powered by a rechargeable power bank. Good for 4hrs. I do not need to buy batteries as long as I remember to recharge my speaker and power banks. i modified some of my rig based upon ideas from your videos and others. My gear is $2,400 USD. Like you it was not purchased all at once but over a long length of time gradually.

@@titolarios I had three over the years. Here they are,. If you find one that fits what you do it is always good to eventually get a second one and or upgrade to a better one. The Horse and LotMusic are the cheapest and the cheaper it is the more hit and miss in quality. But, sometimes the budget is tight and you have pick the one you can afford. It is good to have options and a backup just in case. My pedalboard for example can be powered by rechargeable power bank or plug in. It can be put into a amplifier or a p.a or a mixing board at a pub or something. I use a Vox DA20 amplifier (discontinued by Vox by the way) with built-in microphone input and built-in effects and the like. I also have a pedalboard as the built-in effects are not always exactly what i am looking for. My pedals i collected over a long time and I am used to them and the tap dancing required to operate them and it gives me options. I also have the Bose SR-1. Both are battery powered. The Vox is like the Roland Cube in that it requires batteries (rechargeable preferably) whereas the Bose is rechargeable. Some places like Amazon will let you make monthly payments for the Bose. Like you said in your video a person does not have to get everything all at once. It is best to go a little at a time. Also..the power banks are not listed to last 10hrs, sorry. I think i was exaggerating a little. They do laast a long time though and it feels like 10 hours. . They are listed as 4 or 5 hours but depending on how much power you are drawing out of them they will last much longer as the listed 4 or 5 hours is baed upon continous nonstop use. I sometimes use the built-in effects on my amplifier so the pedals are not always constantly in use.

Dear Tito, I have set my goal to start busking in summer 2o24. I would like to know why you chose the amp EX and not the street II? I need your help as I am undecided. Money difference is not much so I can permit myself to spend only at one or the other. Websites online are somehow battling between EX and II.... Thank you in advance from your new fan. Greetings from Switzerland ✌🤠👍 @donfredu
