Solid tip for loading equipment into dump trailers. Raise the dump bed up so the tipping point isn’t as steep. Plus then you don’t have to worry about setting the jack stands too low. Helps if you have a dump trailer remote that way when your in the machine you can lower it.

Absolutely. This is how I load small equipment into my 7k dump trailer. As soon as I am past the ramps I start lowering the bed. Works like a champ.

I load our backhoe into our dump trailer all the time. You're right, it is the most handiest thing ever.

We run a Southland dump trailer and mini ex or mini skidsteer great combo for small projects. Especially in town where it’s tight access. I’d say best setup one could have is run a roll off bin truck and use that to load your mini ex or skidsteer into it. Man would that be sweet. No need for a trailer and still get your equipment to the site and be able to haul material.

They make dump trailers like that with a roto boom type grapple with outriggers on them we see them in Florida for hurricane clean up, seen a few tree guys with them to. A dump trailer can be versatile.

Beautiful setup but I know for myself if I was moving equipment more than using the dump feature it would drive me nuts just from the securing side of things but everything has its purpose

I definitely need a dump trailer eventually for my firewood buisiness but for all I do is have my 30 foot tri axle gooseneck. The dump trailer i want will be just a little smaller than yours i think. Getting er one piece at a time 👍

I have a versadump. With hydraulic jack in the front. I love it. Only problem is my fsther in law and friends borrowing it all the time and coming back beat on. Lol.

I have an older Komatsu pc40 and am wanting to expand my business. I need a dump trailer. I don’t have a CDL so I’m limited in that aspect, I want to try and get away with a 14’ gooseneck but idk if my machine will fit. I’d happily do the 16 footer but you loose payload capacity.

Got both a dump trailer and equipment trailer I use the dump 90% of the time. Got some aluminum ramps for it way better that way

What ramps did you go with? I do need to get some longer ramps. Loading my skid steer into the dump trailer it was doing a wheelie the whole time 😂

Yes, what ramps did you purchase? How long and wide are they? What was the price? I am just too old to handle those steel channel ramps. I'm seriously thinking tilt trailer.

I got some cheap vevor ramps for the tractor the mini ex I just climb into the box. I think discount ramps has a decent set of ramps but they are $1k vevor was $200ish

Hey Sam. I apologize if you went over it, but does that trailer have hydraulic discs? Also it seems to have a scissor hoist which i prefer. And its called an LPD.....is this a prototype from diamond not on the website?

Depends on what your doing. Overall probably not, too heavy for most hauling jobs

Wanted your opinion, I test drove an 06 and the NV seemed stiff to shift compared to my zf-5. The truck has 177k miles, my zf-5 has 15k on a rebuild. The 07.5 I tested has 96k and shifts smooth and easily.
