The Best way for Heather and Robert to revamp their roles is to do a reboot anime OR a reboot through a Video game Franchise but this time with a solid story based on Wes Craven's Freddy .. after part three the other sequels were just thrown together because of Freddy's popularity .
@nerdjournal23 күн бұрын
4 and 5 still had a certain charm to them. But if I could have a wish come true is I would literally wish for a reboot that picked up after the events of Part 3 and bring back most of the cast from the 3rd one and have Freddy coming back as adults coming for THEIR kids. Put Robert In since he would be in make-up, they could hide the age through cosmetics. Because it wouldn't make sense for Freddy to age. I just think that has the MOST potential for the best way to reboot Nightmare on Elm Street. Then I would focus on the next movie being based on passing the torch to a new Krueger, someone who isn't trying to play their own version of Freddy but is trying to play the Character of Freddy that we already know.

One thing I love about Heather is she never became a Hollyweird snob...she's sweet, down to earth and the perfect beautiful girl next door actress. She made it big without showing cleavage and only showing her great acting talents. Heather is head and shoulders above Jamie Lee,Demi Moore and Patricia Arquette etc...Heather IS the final girl!

weird, i had a dream about part 3 while i was dreaming this morning. and i was a huge fan of the series as a kid because i was always lucid dreaming. and being a horror junkie as a child, i had the most horrifying nightmares, while being awake in them. sometimes i could escape. never had a nightmare about Freddy though, thank goodness
@nerdjournal23 күн бұрын
I used to have lucid dreams about horror movie characters. I don't remember but a few of them, and they were the more absurd ones, I think. Once I laughed at Pennywise, because he was talking about the Derry Sewer plant behind him and that I would float in it, only we were standing in the creek that ran through the front of my yard, so he had trees behind him, and we were thousands of miles from the potential of Derry if it actually existed. And the Second one was I got mad a Jason Voorhees for breaking my door and I killed him, cooked him and ate his lungs like a brisket. Ahh, the absurdity of dreams!

Nightmare on Elm Street isn't a slasher. Or it could be better said maybe as it isn't JUST a slasher. Personally, I don't label it as one, but can't fault people who might. The article I read on the Collider website was pretty compelling and voiced a lot of my own opinions. It's a movie that plays on the tropes of the slasher craze, but in a supernatural meets psychological horror meld of perfection.

I consider the nightmare on elm street movie franchise a slasher no doubt, but its the game changer that took the slasher Halloween, Friday the 13th films by that mid 80s coming out of the late 70s early 80s boom of a traditional slasher film being made from that time stamp mid 70s if u wanna include The original texas chainsaw massacre 1974 film a real start with a weapon n being masked of some form in leatherface s case it was his victims skin removed from their bodies..then u could say Their was that blonde brown haired good nice girl that survives and fights her way through the ordeal of her friends being offed one by one hunted down n chased to her being a final girl to make a survival stamp of a girl strong enough to succeed and escape the main killer or killers in Sallys case then in 1974 the olivia hussey survives Black Christmas 1974.. n so by 1978 we got the most noted well received knowledge ment of the famous iconic Ledgendary scream queen of the horror realm due to her big Hollywood actress movie star mom janet Leigh from Hitchcock s 1960 Psycho getting i believe the first woman to be shown getting stabbed in a shower which set as another standard format that other slashers later after psycho atarted to cliche the shower killed woman in a slasher trope..n her daughter is of course miss Jamie lee curtis start of her career doing oddly enough horror film after another till she noticed their pattern of her work by coincidence that her roles after her debut in 1978s Halloween as a terrified surviving smart fighting victimizec teen girl who fought back at her slasher killer then next Friday the 13th had their couple of surviving leading ladies to survive jason and in the original mrs psychotic mother Mrs Voorhees then we get a much more elevated different slasher to be different freddy krueger in which he was more super natural n a evil entity that was once a human serial child killer then turned super natural by coming back to taunt his victims as young adults of his neighborhood community that killed him with vigilante justice so he returns in evil entity form killing slashing them with instead of just having a single tool or weapon or knife etc, he has many knives made on a glove he hand crafted himself to use as a killing tool and he was able to talk and speak to taunt his victims unlike his othet fellow slasher villains that came b4 him freddy just eievated the typical slasher killer

@RelentlessOhiox yea ,but im just sayin on regards to the debate rather nightmare on elm street is a slasher or not and im sayin nightmare took the typical regular slasher film troups and made a different unique thing where its a slasher but mixed in with a almost fantasy supernatural entity element to its own stand alone slashet film id in my opinion do consider nightmare on elm street a most definite slasher no doubt, it just gets debatable from fans out in the horror world community, and when u gotta put ur foot down at the end of the day just take it for what it is and just see the obvious standards of earlier previous slasher films that came before nightmare and nightmare is no exception, it certainly has the same beat to a Halloween but in a different situation and another mid western town setting just like Halloween
