I still love Heather and Robert so much! I grew up on the films and will cherish them for the rest of my life. It’s so great to see them still out there talking about that iconic first NOES movie. ♥️

I met and talked to Dick Cavett years ago and asked him about his scene with Zsa Zsa Gabor in Dream Warriors and he said that it was the most wanted role at the time. He said that everyone wanted to tell her “who gives a F**k what you think “ 🤣🤣

It was a sad thing when the guy who had created the character had died so soon rest in peace man everytime I saw your films I had really enjoyed the way that you had written how and why the character was so fearful and then the character found out a way to kill the villain in the film that to me was special no matter what your films will always be a part of history

Ok Look there is this game called Dead By Daylight and we have new Freddy 😢 They are reworking him and now they also do voicelines. Idk about the deal they have for copyrights but it would be FUCKING AMAZING to have the TRUE and only Freddy ,Mr.Englund as model and couple voicelines . One can dream, one can dream

The 59th should be about you trying social media. But Freddy doesn't look this. He is they always search the ultimate whale. The last ones. As they always day. Because he is a slasher. When he becomes popular they all got

I don't think Robert and Heather recollect that the version of "Dream Warriors" that was made is not written by Wes Craven (and Bruce Wagner). The script they shot was written by Frank Darabount and Chuck Russell, who had to go to arbitration with the Writer's Guild to get onscreen billing, which they won, because... they wrote the movie. I will never understand this fascination with the script Wes wrote because it's just awful. You've got nonsense like Freddy threatening to shit on Nancy's corpse and calling her the c-word. He kills Kincaid by shoving his arm up his ass and quipping "Your ass is mine now, boy!" And the ending is just all over the place; they stab Freddy with his own glove and chant they don't believe in him and then they have to go kill this baby Freddy in a ranch house outside of town and it's like "WHAT?!" It's not a good script and there's a reason why Bob Shaye and Rachel Talalay told Wes it was "unfilmable" (which is Hollywood-speak for "this is awful"). When Robert says "they put it back into the script," (re: "Welcome to Prime Time, bitch") what he's referring to is something called a "Continuity script" and that's something created when the film is finished. What it is is a transcription of the movie used as part of the distribution package and it can aide with dubbing into other languages and that sort of thing. The copy of the Darabount/Russell script I have here just has Freddy saying "This is it, Jennifer. Your big break in TV!" and he smashes her head into the screen. What I think happened is that on one take, Englund improvised "Welcome to Prime Time, bitch!" and they liked it so much they just used both lines.

Mr Englund, just one more, sir. I know he’s said many times that he won’t be reprising his role, but I think the reasons that he has given (mainly his age) are just… big no no. He’s got it, he is Freddy. He doesn’t owe us shit, but there’s not legacy sequel without him. It’s gotta be so exhausting to wear all that makeup again, but one more time, sir. Give us the last nightmare 🙏🏻
