Another great video Justina. I really enjoyed doing my Pn1 certification - I really value the holistic approach it takes to nutrition. The easiest way to spot someone who is Pn1 qualified? You use the word “biopsychosocial” and are not met with a blank stare!(when you know, you know 😉)

The part about mastering the basics before over-complicating things! That is a conclusion I came to just today. Recently I had been looking into using MFP primarily as a tool to just get an idea of my intake. Well, that lasted all of one day. LOL! It’s especially difficult for me because I don’t do the cooking and would have to set aside time to dissect all that is being cooked. So I took at step back to take a look at common sense things that I still have to work on and decided that I’m going to get a grip on that first and see where I land. I can revisit calorie and macro counting later. A valuable lesson for anyone trying to get a handle on their nutrition. Thank you for another great video!

LOVE THIS! Good on you for realizing that MFP simply wasn't the best option for you :)

That was a great video! II hope PN knows how valuable this is. You kind of sold me on the program. Good to know the writers have a sense of humor and I like that they convey key concepts and emphasize those over deep science, but offer both. I have been considering this certification so decided to do some research. So glad I did. Are you able to share anything about cost? Seems they keep that info somewhat hidden - perhaps until the time of enrollment, but it's a factor in my decision-making, so curious.

So glad you enjoyed! This is absolutely one of my favorite certs. The pricing is at the bottom of their page for each cert by the way. The L1 is about $1000 if you join the wait list. www.precisionnutrition.com/nutrition-certification-level-1-presale-list

First of all, I love your videos Justine, so thank you for putting them out! This course looks super interesting and I’m going to look more into it. I am a small business owner but am not into it (Amazon seller) and am actually selling my business. I want to do something that helps others physically and mentally. Perhaps becoming a coach of some sort, but I am worried about how to market myself and actually get clients (and make money lol). If you or anyone reading this could offer some suggestions on how to get started or things to research I’d really appreciate it. If I’m going to do courses, I’d like to do ones that are actually well-respected like this one, not like some random IG course from some fitness model or something weird like that, lol. Thanks 😊
@JustinaErcole2 жыл бұрын
Hey! They actually talk a lot about the business and marketing sides of things as well in the final unit. And upon completion, you can join the PN Coach Facebook group where people are always sharing ideas. I'd also recommend checking out the free resources from Vanessa Lau and Sunny Lenarduzzi to learn more about business and marketing. Hope that helps!

Always a great video from our Justina! I have a random question here, you have talked about push/pull workout, but what it is? And some example of the workout? I'm a bit confused 😅 would love to see a video about it!! P/s: sorry for my english, not a native speaker 😌

So push means you’re using muscles that push (triceps, chest, quads, etc) and pull means muscles that pull (hamstrings, back, biceps, etc). Hope that helps!
