I also didn't notice a difference between the two performance wise, but I DO like how easy the Adrenaline software is to setup. I especially like that it puts your webcam on your gaming monitor instead of just displaying it in OBS.

Thanks bro. Do you have recommendations for adrenaline graphic settings for 4k 120fps oled tv. Most of videos are made for higest fps but i want visuals 4k because of 120fps limitations freesync oled tv.

So i was thinking about gettin a video Capture card if this would increase Quality. In your video, your stream looks so Sharp That made me curious about your setup.

obs can also give you way better quality than relive if you are willing to manually input amf options like PA in the commands line.

Most people aren't. But that's always the advantage of OBS, in that you can really tweak things.

@@CoalitionGaming I wish those options would just be integrated via buttons. But I can't code enough to submit anything to the OBS github x) but I talked to one of the guys doing the stuff for AMF there and he said we might see a button for PA in the future.

I always wished that Adrenaline was really good, that way I wouldn't have to play at all with the OBS Quality settings. Maybe with AMD putting more resources into AV1 and Live Streaming, we'll see them come with a better streaming suite using OBS as a base (Like Streamlabs OBS)

For me, low spec, AMD relive or adrenaline is 100% better than obs, I live stream 1440p 60fps never have any problem with adrenaline/ AMD relive, when using obs always have some problem, lagging ,high CPU usage, etc

Streaming to KZbin it sounds like. Nice! Weird that OBS uses so much more resources though. It shouldn't be that huge of a difference, but I don't know your specific settings/config/overlays so I suppose it could be normal.

I heard OBS is more CPU intensive AMD Relive better optimised for their GPU’s. I switched from OBS as Well 🙂. Too much lag

Dude, how can you showcase adrenalin streaming in 2023 with polaris gpu that is 8 years old and that old cpu? If you try newer generation radeons 6000 and 7000 series gpu they have AV1 encoder and much never software than rx 580 that is legacy product now and does not receive updated divers

The test streams were done to twitch which still doesn't even have official AV1 support, and everything else you just mentioned also has zero impact on the results because it was a controlled test. You are clearly someone who has learned something, but not enough, and is trying to flex what little knowledge you've learned about streaming if THATS what you got out of this video lol. Want to see tests done with a newer Radeon? Feel free to send me one. All of this is out of my own pocket.

I remember streaming with my old RX 580 was not as good quality wise as newer 7000 series I have. I tried it both on obs and adrenalin in many versions of these software. It is obvious I dont understand streaming well enough and I need to work on it. I just discovered your channel and you have a sub. Keep it up!

@@E5150. Thanks. The point of the video was not about the visual quality difference or comparison. It was a factor, but not the point. The point of the video was to demonstrate whether the adrenaline software put a different kind of load on the system versus OBS. With that in mind, the generation of GPU and hardware of the system is less important, as long as I can make a direct comparison between the two with the same hardware and get FPS numbers to compare. The results spoke for themselves. If this was about visual quality, obviously yes newer models have improved encoders but that was besides the point here.

I don't know what kind of errors you are encountering, what you said is too vague. But what I would do is reinstall the Radeon adrenaline software and make sure to click the option for "factory reset" when you install it, and it will wipe and reset everything. Might help

You have to connect the streaming account in the Adrenaline settings first

Because this is specifically a comparison of the softwares for streaming between OBS and Radeon Adrenaline. Thats why. Thats it. Its very simple. What you're asking is about comparing game recording between those softwares has nothing to do with game streaming and is a totally different thing because bitrates are not a limitation when recording. Nvidia wasn't included because their built in game streaming features are barebones compared to AMD and Radeon Adrenaline. To the point where its not even really an option.
