I'm 35, used to bmx up till 24, then quit after a hard slam. My kids are just starting to ride bikes, so I pulled out my old bmx and rode with them. The years or working the oil patch has taken a toll on my body so it was quite unpleasant. I rode a mountain bike once, when I was 16. Rode my wife's 100 dollar Walmart special the other day and it opened my eyes. I always thought I would never want to ride bikes again. After watching a few mountain bike videos, I decided I am going to start my second chapter. Thanks for the inspiration.

@@planeandsimple431 oh for sure, I know you get what you pay for. I snapped plenty of frames down huge gaps to flat concrete landings. As far as I am concerned her Walmart bike is acceptable to ride with my 2 year old daughter, and that's about it. I was originally looking for just a bike to ride with my kids, but after a few videos and reads, I have decided I want to take on some mild trail riding to get back into it. As much as I would love to go hit the skate park or dirt jumps on my bmx, my professional daredevil days are over. I sold my dirt bikes around the same time I hurt myself riding professionally. This looks like a perfect mix of both, with a little bit less risk.

NICE!! That's what I'm talking about....a day of messing around and having fun on bikes. Sessioning is a lost art! Loved it when the XC guy did the endo-turn after he was warned about the drop, and then later he did a little mini-hip, which isn't that impressive except that his seat was about an inch from orbit. Cool to see more "off the bike" shots, with some POV spliced in. I need to get back to doing more of that...so much more intrigue for the viewers. Keep 'em coming!

I've started really getting into mountain biking recently, and I'll be getting a good hardtail soon, and possibly a full-suspension after that. So I took my current sorta cheap hardtail out for a ride on some rough terrain, did it all with no crashes, then went on roads, vaulted over speedbumps, and cleared everything. And then I slipped. If you ever get the chance you should check out Griffin bike bark just south of terre haute indiana located in fowler park. its a fairly new park. If your ever passing through terre haute indiana on interstate 70 its only about 20 min drive.

It's cool to see how kids like you. This used to be my home trail too, you could get away with a hardtail for everything. I moved to the PNW and learned real quick how much i'm slacking lol
