I’m taking my Shahada soon. Over the last few years I was lost, I didn’t know who I am, what’s my purpose in life. I left Christianity when I was 14, because I felt overwhelmed and it wasn’t it. But this year, at the age of 21, I started researching Islam, reading Quran and Hadiths. Now I’m learning how to pray. I’m going thriugh a very difficult time in my life now but I just know this is it, Allah is just testing me. He guides me on the right path. Alhamdulillah I finally found myself 💜

Islams many problems; ;;; -many different Arabic qurans (not just one), but different books with MANY different words like HAFS and WARSH have 5000 word/meaningdifferences!!! -200 dumb mistakes in quran(s) - corrupted oldest (6 different incomplete manuscripts, 8th century =/- 100 years after Mohhamed) qurans (research with photos DR Daniel Brubaker. -development of Arabic language AFTER "completion" quran(s), Vowels (the Arabic DOTS) were added later and create new word-possibilities. -the false Kaaba in Mecca, there is a tremendous amount of reliable evidence that the "original"Kaaba was in Petra (Jordan) (A LOT OF OVERWELMING EVIDENCE!!!) research DAN GIBSON. - Taweed is corrupted by quran (Hafs) itself mainly verses 33;56 and 112;1 (key words SALAH and AHAD , true meaning in Arabic include OTHER GODS besides Allah) - the Black stone (a pagan practice "kissing it and sins are gone???!!) was DESTROYED, current stone is said to be a fake (with possible remnants of original in it?) -Mohhameds lack of miracles -Mohhameds immoral behaviour (COMPARE TO OTHER HOLY MAN FROM OTHER RELIGIONS mohhamed was a MAFIA leader/criminal. -Mohhameds false prophecies ; mainly in hadith but also quran 54;1). ---Mohhameds DEMONPOSSESSION, Gabriel was likely a DEMON that posed as an angel, Mohhamed initially believed he was demonpossessed, and therefor tried to KILL HIMSELF many times, only after (wive) Kadidya did a ""demontest"" (was it genuine/really a reliable test???undressing herself...!!!) Mohhamed started his "religion", many others were having doubts about Gabriel being an angel. -Mohhameds seems to be missing from history in first 70 years, : why does nobody mention him? + many more

Dear humble Christian, Islam stresses the notion that God is able to and forgive all sins, if a person truly repents and then refrains from repeating it. God does not need any blood sacrifice for that, let alone descend in the form of man himself and die for every mans sins. Rather, God‟s mercy extends to all creatures, believers and disbelievers alike. The door to forgiveness is open to anyone who seeks it. The Islamic view of Jesus lies between two extremes. The Jews, who rejected Jesus as a prophet, called him an imposter, while the Christians, on the other hand, considered him to be the son of God and worship him as such. Islam considers Jesus to be one of the greatest and most forbearing of prophets, in addition to Noah, Abraham, Moses and Muhammad, may God praise them. Jesus is also considered to be the Messiah as well. This is in conformity with the Islamic view of the Oneness of God, the Oneness of Divine guidance, and the complementary role of the subsequent mission of God‟s messengers. Muslims, like Christians believe that Jesus performed miracles. These miracles were performed by the will and permission of God, Who has power and control over all things. God sent all prophets with miracles specific to the nation to whom they were sent to prove the veracity of their message. These miracles were not performed of their own accord; rather, they were only manifest in their hands by Gods will. The miracles performed by Jesus were no different. The Jews were well advanced in the field of medicine, and the miracles which Jesus brought were of this nature, proving the truth of His message and in order to convince the Jews. Like Christians, Muslims believe that Mary was a chaste, virgin woman, who miraculously gave birth to Jesus. Jesus‟ birth in itself was a miracle in that he had no father. This fact, however, does not necessitate that Jesus is divine in essence or spirit, nor is he worthy of worship, for Adam‟s existence was more miraculous than that of Jesus. If his miraculous birth were a proof that Jesus was God incarnate or His son, then Adam would have more right over this divinity than him. Rather, both are prophets who were inspired with revelation from God Almighty, and both were servants to Him living according to His commandments. Throughout the Quran, Jesus is identified fundamentally as a prophet of God sent to the Jews who had over time deviated from the teachings of Moses and other messengers. Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, was the last in the line of Jewish prophets. He lived according to the Torah, the Law of Moses, and taught his followers to do likewise In the generations after Jesus‟ departure from this world, his teachings were distorted and he was elevated to the status of God. Six centuries later, with the coming of Prophet Muhammad, the truth about Jesus Christ was finally retold and preserved eternally in the last book of divine revelation, the Quran. Furthermore, many of the laws of Moses, which Jesus followed, were revived in their pure and unadulterated form and implemented in the divinely prescribed way of life known as Islam, while many other aspects and injunctions of the laws which had been brought by the earlier prophets were lightened or dropped. Consequently, the reality of the prophets, their uniform message, and the way of life which they followed, can only be found preserved in the religion of Islam, the only religion prescribed by God for man. Muslims today actually follow Jesus and his true teachings. Their way of life is much more in tune with the way of life Jesus practiced than any of the modern day “Christians.” Love and respect of Jesus Christ is an article of faith in Islam, and God stressed the importance of belief in Jesus in numerous places in the Quran The message of God to humanity, which is to worship God and God alone and to live according to His instruction, was revealed to Adam (peace be upon him), who passed it on to his children. All the subsequent revelations to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and, finally, Muhammad are in conformity with that message.

For example if u win a trophy that's something to be proud of until u keep and keep on winning trophy's and it becomes something that is normal to u. First of all Islam is not a new or separate religion but a continuation of the unitary God centred belief system that began with Judaism, or perhaps even before. Secondly Allah's purpose in sending messengers to mankind is not to glorify Himself but to improve the human condition! We seem to have forgotten that and have become focused on rituals, most of which are founded by scholars outside of the Quran, so hadith becomes central to create this scholar centred religion. We seem to believe that Islam is only about prayers, haj, fasting, prohibition of zina, women's head covering, capital punishment for dozens of offenses, alcohol consumption, etc. What about the moral values that are essential for human development? Honesty, compassion, tolerance, justice, knowledge, equity and so on! Look at the Islamic societies around the world; most of them are dictatorships, poor, unjust, illiterate, corrupt, intolerant, lack compassion and charity! That is why they are at the bottom of most social and economic indicators of the world! The Muslim ummah has serious problems and the excessive religiosity of the past 50 years has done nothing to address them! Finally, with regards to the LGBTQ, you do not have to approve of actions contrary to the Quran but treat the people who act in this way with equity, compassion and respect! They will be judged, as all of us will be judged, in the hereafter by Allah! Every person is only responsible for his/her actions!

Thank you for this Mufti Menk! I'd like to ad a non-religious aspect to this for those who might read it: many people tend to have addictions. I don't want to shame or judge anyone publicly. Drinking and consuming drugs is definitely haram and obviously extremely unhealthy. Even a little bit can start an addiction and even a little bit is way too much. People who used to be drug addicts and got clean often start consuming alcohol and become alcoholics because of the simple fact that they say to themselves "just a little bit...I can handle it" That little bit becomes more and more because you get used to the amount. That little bit destroys whole families financially and there's a lot of violence related to it. Even a little bit can cause serious illnesses such as schizophrenia etc... stay strong brothers and sisters. And if you think you've got a drug- or alcohol related problem don't be ashamed but seek help instead, visit NA meetings and see a psychiatrist.

Then he got soooo mad at me and said I’m too picky. But yet he admired my Deen? He wanted me not to speak to no men lose weight look a certain way and cook for him etc. I didn’t mind all that.... it was the weed. He was financially stable. But I need a spiritually stable man too. He wasn’t praying on time etc he was so upset with me. Started calling me names. This is all because I couldn’t accept him smoking weed every night. Us women we need a leader. He will lead us to Jannah. This weed smoking is a waste of time and will only blur the vision and goal. So many people get mad and make excuses saying weed is harmless. I seek forgiveness from Allah SWT.

@@sheilaabdullah6489 Muhammad proved alcoholic Muhammad: Has he ever drunk alcohol? There are tens of ahadiths proving that Muhammad drank alcoholic drinks. Here some examples. Muslim-3753: ''We were with the Prophet of Allah, and He was thirsty, and a man said: O prophet of Allah, Do you want to drink wine? Prophet of Allah said: Yes.The Man went to get the wine. The Prophet of Allah said: Make it Intoxicated. And He (Muhamad) Drank.” The Arabic word used is Nabeed which means wine, it can be free from intoxication, however in that hadith the prophet insisted that it must be intoxicated, isn’t that fascinating? Muslim-3721 ''The Prophet of Allah used to pour alcoholic drinks in a Bowel of Stone'' Seems he used to make his special kind of alcoholic drinks. There are many incidents, such as Aisha pours wine for the prophet of Allah in morning and at night (Muslim-Drinks-3745). Also Aisha brought wine tothe Prophet from inside the Mosque (Muslim-AlHayd-451).

Spiritual stability is a fallacy. I stopped praying many years ago, don't drink smoke and workout daily but still get along with my devout wife because we focus on what works. Common interests. Jannah is not something you should strive for - it's a carnal infested depraved existence for believers which women are excluded from. Which woman wants that. Rather focus on the here and now. A healthy body doesn't need weed to rest.

I lived a life of crippling alcoholism and sin before finding Islam. I was hopeless. If it wasn't for the merciful Allah SWT and stepping into my first AA meeting I wouldn't be here today. May Allah guide us and send blessings and peace upon all of you. Subhanallah

Your Allah is giving you Rivers of wine in his Jannah Why? if it is from Satan?
@sammymontego2217 Жыл бұрын
@@childofgod4862 In Jannah there are no rivers of wine. Stupid Christians came up with rivers of wine and perversed it further by saying Jesus's blood is wine because they said he said it. Truth be told the stupid Christians have 11 rewritten books of lies while the Quran is the only book given from Allah and recorded so perfect that the stupid Christians and devils alike cannot rewrite it or twist it. In Jannah we are in spirit form and the spirit cannot become drunk off of any human intoxicant, nor is there a maximum to which one can eat. You can eat an entire buffet and never be full. How? Because Earth and Jannah are completely different.

@@sammymontego2217 Abd Allah, for 1400 years the river of wine was flowing in Jannah of Allah so what happened now? It dried up because so many Muslim went to Jannah? You are just kid who do not know your Islam May be you are just a New Convert Correct? It's your life and choice, someone can only suggest you the best things rest upto you. Avoiding bad things or something that can harm you is not like stopping freedom. Example if you use safety equipment is necessary for life and you suddenly feel that forcing me to follow safety is like stopping freedom.

It's not that the safety equipment is "necessary" for life, but that you "think" it is necessary. It doesn't matter really, since we also respect peoples choice to not be reanimated if they got into an accident and wrote a last will to prevent that. The idea of having to "force" someone to "follow" something is a dangerous thought that led to countless dictatorships throughout history.
