Orji magic numbers for Michigan to win: 65% running, plays, 55% pass completions, 0 INTs. If he can do that, he can get Michigan to 5 yards a carry, reduce the number of possessions, and win the game. Michigan had 7 turnovers in three games. That is awful. That is like giving the other team over 10 points a game just on turnovers if you look at historical data on what turnovers are worth (on average 4.5 points each). There is every reason to believe that that number goes WAY down with Alex Orji as QB in a much more run heavy, lower risk offense. As for defense, this may be a case of WInk Martindale (their D Coordinator) adjusting to the fact that college players are not pro players in terms of expectations in 1:1 coverage during blitzes. It is more about the scheme than the players themselves. Hopefully he adjusts BACK to what what Jesse Minter (their last D Coordinator) had last year.

SC held a premier SEC team LSU to 20pts, SC shutout yes a weak Utah St, what more do you want? SC's defense is for real this year. Analyst beg for SC to just have an okay defense to be good. Now that SC defense is really above average, more excuse.

If we run the ball against USC, I think will be an issue for their defense. It's weird to me that Miller Moss has over 600 years passing but 2 TD's, but he is taken good care of the ball. I think with Alex he thrown the ball six times and 3 completion, when he gets more reps, I think he could be an 62% passing completion QB. If that happens I think we become a better team.
