This video is the first episode of a new series I'm calling RRD (Random Range Day) where like the name suggest, it's a range day, that's pretty random. I bring out a few different guns to showcase rather than making individual videos on each one. They could be anything, and no particular uploading schedule. Hope y'all enjoy! For the first episodes we go over 7 different guns. 00:00 - Sponsors 00:51 - What Is RRD 02:37 - 18" 6.5 Creedmoor 08:14 - Leviathan Defense Loki AR9 09:23 - Henry Homesteader 10:21 - Diamondback Sidekick 11:34 - Beretta Type 92Xi 13:03 - Desert Tech Quatro-15 14:59 - Suppressed Hellcat Pro A big thanks to GunSpot & PARD for sponsoring this episode. Let me know what y'all would like to see in the next episode!

"Oh, we hit something" and "I spray painted it because I'm a bozo" Great stuff man, it's fun to see someone who enjoys guns like we do, not just someone trying to make money off of our hobby!

Thank you for creating a new series. Your channel has become my favorite for information. Your demonstration of that new Vortex range finder definitely needs to be expanded on. Awesome job on creating different series. My idea of a RRD is going to the range on a different of the following week.

Sweet thing that 6.5 Creedmoor. And I guess if 2650 ft/s with a 140 grain were enough, 200 ft-lb less out of the 18’ won’t be enough difference to make a difference

The answer is YES! I’m CONSISTENTLY hitting at 1100 yrds with my 18” Sig Cross 6.5 Needmore. Ok I might not shoot an Elk, but it can reach out and touch things very accurately with just enough muzzle energy left to make a difference.

these are some awesome episodes i can watch these all day long.... thank you sir for making these. I have a CZ 7.62x39 that is a tack driver I might upgrade my scope to a night force and might give ur competition a shot... the AK round can reach out to a KM even though many people don't believe that..

The way i see it, you dont really lose a lot of velocity with a shorter barrel 6.5CM. I have a 20in barrel on my 6.5 and with my handloads, I still get about 2750fps with a 140gr RDF, and still not at the max charge. There's really no downside to a shorter barrel. Still get good velo with handloads, and youre getting a light rifle. 👌👌

It would be so sick if i could bring my Henry Long Ranger in .308 for the thousand yard challenge. It'll have a fixed 10 power Bushnell Mil Dot scope. I have a couple inexpensive bipods I could throw on it for the challenge. I just got it last week. But Im Canadian, and I would not risk bringing it over the border and back, just not worth it.

@teampyle9835
@teampyle9835 Жыл бұрын
For that range finder to work right wouldn't you have to dial your scope back to 0 everytime to get an acurate reading? Im assuming you zero the laser "parallel" to match the scopes line of sight at all distances, but If you have 10 mills dialled in the scope then the laser would be 10 mils higher than the reticle and give a bad reading.
@TexasPlinking
@TexasPlinking Жыл бұрын
I'm not quite sure what you mean but the answer is no. Once zeroed, the range finder fins the range of the object a couple inches above your target, Chances are your target isn't smaller than a couple inches.
@teampyle9835
@teampyle9835 Жыл бұрын
@TexasPlinking yes a "parrallel" zero would have the laser about 2 inches above your zeroed reticle. But I'm saying it is important to note that if you dial 10 Mils elv then your LRF will be 10 Mils higher than your POA plus the 2 inches of parallel.
