FYI, my Samsung 75 8K QN900 lasted only 2 and 6 months I would not recommend 8K due to the fact that some of the components are not reliable at all. I went back to 4K instead

Hey Adam, great video. Sadly don't think this tv is waaayyyy overkill for a normal consumer. I think a better tv would be a 4k 85 inch would be better. And cheaper. I know it would get more blocky, you generally sit farther away. I still think of makes the best OLED TVs but they are more expensive so I don't know about that. Another thing is that I use a shield pro on my tv and I don't thing that even supports 8k and without android tv, the Tv will be frustrating and unusable for me. Maybe in a decade when they become more viable, I'll get one but for now 4k is more than enough for anyone. Great quality video again adam🙂

The 800c has a special anti glare screen. That’s the reason I bought this one, much better than 700c or the oled tv’s

There's blurring. A 4k visual well never look as good on 8k as native 4k. like trying to blow up 720p to 1080p on an upscaler.

YES. As TVs get larger the pixels must cover a larger area. When you get to 85" you can start noticing some pixels , even worse on 95"+. If your max size is 65", surely go for 4K. 65"-70" is about optimal for 4K. But everyone already has 65", we're now upgrading for 85-90"
