If you want to have even more angle - put spacers between steering rack and rod - 5 mm is a maximum you can use. Otherwise it will start to leak the power steering fluid. I prefer 4 mm spacer. Also set it a little /\ on your wheel alignment. Then the steering wheel will "adapt" to angle of your drift and transitions will be much more easier :)

7:29 i know this is not from real life, but in sims when i drift, i am feeling the car drifts better at a near ackerman steering. i still have some factors to account for besides the ackerman settings, so if you guys know why this can be, or you also have more consistency around 90% ackerman, tell me (or us) why and how. | - • -/ ackerman /- • -/ non ackerman My theory is that on ackerman steering while in a drift, while countersteering, the inside(inside the drift, outside the corner) front wheel (which has the most grip) gains some angle, while the outside wheel (which sees less grip) loses some angle, resulting in an angle "efficiency" gain. This does not fully explain consistency, so, furthermore, the outside wheel contributes with a "dragging" effect to the front end (basically understeer to that wheel) which is more linear than full grip on the countersteered outside (outside the drift) wheel

the car is easier to control with ackerman angle, but if you're drifting competitively and require speed, non ackerman is the way to go since that extra grip you get with ackerman angle slows you down.
