He forgot to mention that the newer ATMs can be converted to Bitcoin.. Also, in some major cities, they have banned cashless stores and stores can get in trouble if they don't take cash. As someone who owns 5 ATMs there is still money in this business..

Hi Proverty2Wealth, with your machines are there processing fee you pay to companies like VISA, MasterCard, AMEX etc? What are your top sites to purchase an ATM? When you first place an ATM how is this communicated to the banks? Would you need to contact them or is it as simple as plug them in and connect to wifi? I would truly appreciate any feed back you could provide at this time!

@@kylelagasse7507 Well if all your machines have $3500 preloaded. 8% per transaction on average. After the usual 50/50 split you make 4%. 100%/4% = 25 times. If you wanted to make $35,000 that's 250 trips, however many miles, gas, time reloading, ATM internet expense, and 10k (Vehicle+ATM+3.5k+Misc) to make yourself a part time job in a dying industry. Its good if you have enough machines and volume and logistics, but it's not passive. You also can't just hire some random low wage person to be entrusted with potentially 10's of thousands of dollars.

Not necessarily. The industry pressures are still relevant even with an existing route. You are also going to pay a significant premium over just machines. If the buyer is capable of sales and building business relationships it can be cheaper to not buy an existing route. The compromise would be a franchise that places the machines. Every situation is different and you have to analyze your specific situation to assess which path makes the most sense. Thanks for watching.
