@@SimplyPickleball I believe we will see ALW on the WTA tour. Tennis is an international sport (pickleball at this time doesn't have a world tour). I saw a picture of ALW with Martina Hinges holding tennis racquets and not pickleball paddles. This makes me wonder if ALW was picking Martina's brain about playing on the women's pro tennis tour. Funny that ALW and Martina are almost the exact same size. My prediction is that ALW will be on the WTA tour at some point in time. It would be a win/win for both tennis and pickleball.

great interview! Loved the back and forth and the conversation flowed very naturally. I love to watch the Waters play and I have missed watching Leigh. I hope she will start playing professionally again, even if it means she and AE might not be partners. Time will tell!

I met (said "hi") to Leigh and Anna Leigh at the Kansas City tournament. They were both so nice and though the interaction was short, they were both very nice and seemed like they were glad to meet a fan. What a great family.

Interesting. I play piano duets with my daughters. It’s fun to play together! I just started pickleball this year. It’s a fun game for a non athlete too!

Are you talking about when she played her first tournament and was moved into a higher bracket? That's pretty common at the 3.0/3.5/4.0 level during someone's early tournament career.

Her paddle is super customised. Therefore, simply cheating is how she rose to be number one.

Paddles need to be approved by the USAPA for tournament play. And then each tournament league (PPA, MLP, etc.) does additional testing. It would be pretty hard to dominate multiple leagues over the course of many years with a non-confirming paddle. Do you know something we don't?
