The cheating is next level, even on console. Sbmm/eomm needs to be removed in pubs, tickrate server needs to be addressed. A game should not be this stressful to play. I know that eomm is supposed to retain players playing the game, but i find that i turn off the game frequently after being beaten up like a pinata by preds/cheaters all night. It's crazy, but in EAs scramble to make more money, its actually just preventing itself from doing so. I mean: The over priced skins and how sub-par most even look; the cheaters; the constant inbalance of legends and guns; ranks loosing all meaning and value; etc. I enjoy this game, I honestly don't want to see it die, but EA's greed and lack of understanding of what their customers want, will cause any and all potential income to run dry quickly.

They should remove the split forever. Bringing it back is a bad idea since this game derank everyone so the ranked can be very frustrating to play due to the high chance pros and tryhards will be in the same lobby for most of the time during the first few weeks of the split.

@@brandondean5680 The only reason why preds whine about the removal of split is because they don't want to always keep competing for pred spot all season without a save point. The removal of split helps lower rank players climb easier but causes stress to preds. Respawn should have made it so that after the first half of the season everyone rank progression will be recorded so when the season resets players will be given rewards based on the highest rank recorded and there will be no derank for every non pred but only reset the score of master or above to start at 0 points in master.

My biggest problem with Apex Legends is the matchmaking. I am a Gold IV player and I can't play happily. In unranked games, I always get matched against Predator and Master players, and in ranked games, I face people much better than me. I can't enjoy playing this game anymore. Over 300 matches this season and only 2 wins with a 0.7 K/D ratio.

Man oh man I was tuned in HEAVY come season 4…. You’re right, 4-7 was for sure the peak for me. I loved early Apex, and I even enjoyed it up until about season 12 ish. I just don’t play anymore it isn’t fun and broken moon is half the reason I stopped, what a god awful map. Nothing will hit the way kings canyon and worlds edge did, and I actually really had fun on Olympus. Both maps following that are trash and the fact that they just KEEP adding legends is wild to me. They just want money tho at this point.

Litterally every new player on apex on their first match after the orientation: - Matched with smurfs, preds, 4k, 20 kills players and some content creators abusing the matchmaking to make frag clips. We can say what we want about Overwatch 2, but blizzard was smart enough to put at least a Phone number requirement to even play the game to prevent sweaty tryhards to build an army of smurfs. What keeps a game alive is the constant renewal of the playerbase. I brought a lot of friends on Apex during the last few years. Most of them never played an FPS before and couldn't stand a chance against some solo 20 frags, octane movement player abusing neostrafe. Even tho SBMM is trash, as older player remember a time when u had to go trough pain to get better... nowadays the skill gap between a newcommer and a 2000h player, ils monstruous.

Solos would make more sense if there were no drop ship. Everyone has a preselected landing spot. The way it is now just doesn't make any sense. Another option is to have something like 2-4 dropships coming from opposite sides. Can't stand it the way it currently is.

I doubt you younger gens know the true definition of a "dead game". A game is truly dead or dying when there's literally only a couple of hundred people playing the game total. That would mean that the PC version and the console version of the game would only have 200 active players in total for the game to be considered "dead". Apex is a F2P game and because of that reason alone it will never "die" seeing as any one can literally download the game and play it for free.

Not know what your character can really do because it’s been so long that’s kinda why it’s a bit surprising they should take player reaction a bit more seriously when it comes to character nerfs because that really shapes if a player wants to return or not I remember when they changed wraiths portal time now if you rift in a fun fight head on its instant death… Some things need to be left alone because if player count drops some of the changes made were the problem map changes for the most part at least to me didn’t matter because ability outweighs terrain but not if your abilities are being stripped… I love this game but it’s harder than ever to play

Solos Duos and Trios would be great but implementing true crossplay with PC and console is a terrible idea. You glossed over the fact that *some* console players have access to 120fps and those that do have reduced aim assist, thus evening out the console playerbase. Mixing this with PC is just a terrible idea. Almost all console players would get obliterated against someone who has 300+ fps and a whole arm to aim for long distance and have better movement for close range. So, nope nope nope. Bad idea

Solos are 50 players free for alls. On average you should win 2% of the times, and this is how battleroyales are. If your mm matches you with same skilled players, on average each one will win one time, meaning you will win 1 match in 50. You are winning more than you should, meaning that on average you are the one ruining the games to other

The game has been dying for awhile. I don’t think the player count numbers were ever accurate, and it’s easy af to bloat player account numbers on steam with inactive bot accounts. The purpose of this would be to give the illusion that the game is healthy and popular. I think EA has essentially given up on the game. Nobody I know even plays anymore, and I stopped playing around season 13, but still keep tabs. I noticed queue times started getting way longer and matchmaking really took a plunge around that time. I recently tried to get into a solos match, and there was hardly anyone in queue, even on multiple servers. People on Steam and on Reddit have complained about the same thing. Twitch views dropped off significantly as well. The game use to have hundreds of thousands of viewers, now hardly anyone still watches it. It’s been dead, EA tried to hide that fact, now they’re sunsetting the game.

So much wrong with apex, the 20tick server, the matchmaking, lack of updates and when there are any its just another fucking collection event, nothing's really happening either, i hate to say this but i see apex living only for like 2 yeats max, and if it does, i hope titanfall comes back

Dude deacribe every single season,at the beggining everybody is playing and having fun fornlike a month or so,then the game goes dry and we end up with no we get no new teasers for events,and nothing to do,thr amunt of cheaters and the lack of things to work for.

First descendants coming out julyy 2nd... RIP apex, 22 heirloom account and I dont even care about this game anymore. too many hackers, teamers, cheaters.. etc. hurt them in their wallets and watch how fast the game changes. good luck to those still addicted to mediocrity
