I love ash echoes and i know this video is two weeks old but ive played it since global launch and its so addictive even if I havent progressed as fast as some of the content creators. Its so complex and in a refreshing way because most other gacha devs would have just stopped at simplistic but i like the challenge of making builds and dealing with team based rng instead of artifact domains.

Current player here. I do love this game, it's probably my favourate gacha in 2024. But I can also see that Ash Echoes is not a very "promotable" game, there's not much cool flashy stuff going on the screen and not many things to do outside of combat. In short, it's not appealing. But man, do I want this game to be more popular. The quality is subtle (almost too subtle, I can vividly imagine the global promotion team banging their head against the wall), you can feel it in every detail. Team building flexibility, tactical nuances, story pacing and all the in game artworks......these only show when people actually experience the game. There are just too many shining spots but not enough people talk about them, even in the community. Like how Sambheka, a "support", becomes an absolute killing machine when paired with specific traces that makes her deal true percentage damage regardless of enemy health pool; How you can meaningfully interact with enviroment, like pushing enemy off the edge for insta-kill, stun the airborn enemy to make them fall so melee characters can hit them etc; And how every character have hidden drink recipes that unlocks some special plots. //(Gina is the most precious thing in the world and must be protected at all cost) And the story, ohhhh the story. I played on cn server which has the newest updates and MAN. Reborn From the Blaze has the best dipiction of war, weapon and humanity I've seen in any gacha game. Unmet Fate is the best "zombie apocalypse" story I've seen that released the true potential of this genre. I'm already liking the gameplay but it's these stories that truely cemented Ash Echoes' place in my heart, I'm really looking forward to the future of this game.

A regular, daily Ash Echoes player here. It's a great game. Not for people with short attention span who enjoy braindead TikTok clips though. It's a very underrated game. Needs maximum strategy to beat bosses which I love the most. I don't really care about the lore in this game. The game-play is what it's all about. Team synergy & all that jazz. Although, I would admit that the last event's story-line was kinda cute. I play more of this than WuWa [equally a great game] & Epic Seven [

I love the idea of party games and mixing drinks with characters, though is there a progression barrier to the social aspect, like having to unlock the drinks or having to rank up the characters? Do you have any interset in covering exilium, the only thing close to it that I've played (at a glance) is XCOM war of the chosen. Looking forward to hearing about miss la Mancha. You can only invite 3 characters to tea a day, and you don’t have all the drink options until you rank up their friendship more (which you rank up by serving them more drinks). La Mancha Manager vid isn’t currently in the cards despite everyone’s current assumptions lol. But with how many people are asking me for it, yall may get it some 2 or 3 vids from now.

From my experience currency rewards are a little slow but the gacha is plenty generous to make up for it. You won’t be summoning as often but your summons tend to be very fruitful. Also, most of the best units seem to be the 5 stars and not the 6 stars.
