@@TraumaTeamRacing 100 percent man. Options are always a good thing. I play Acc on pc and gt sport. Fortunate that I don't have to pick a side.. 'the console pleb or the pc master race' Both great in their own right. They both have the same fundamentals with regards to car handling and racing in general. When I go from one to another the same rules apply as far as getting the car around a circuit effectively.

And in my opinion Acc is not a true Sim either.... you can turn off fuel depletion, Tyre ware, damage..... Also their are exploits which u can use to setup your car in an unrealistic way to get better lap times.... In the end, all just games, but good ones that let me enjoy one of my passions in life... As a consumer we should never be saying "oh its Ok to that the game being released with bugs" especially which are straight away noticeable. We should be holding the developer accountable and giving them heat for a buggy release. They are the ones who are benefiting from the sales and QA should be on par unless the game is free or has a minimal price.

For me, the biggest difference is the feedback. It's not delayed for me, but the feedback feels less 'solid'; it has a kind of airy feel if you get me. Otherwise, not bad for now. Hoping v1.8 is fixing a lot of stuff

I think it’s super amazing that such a complex and detailed racing sim is available on console. The fact that it actually on PS4 is awesome. At the same time, I’m very pleased that I took the step and bought a PC just because of ACC. If the game didn’t exist on PS4, I wouldn’t be doing sim racing at all by now. Even less would I have a gaming PC.

Sad you needed a pc for something that could be solved with a little care and effort. Kinda like when you load a preset wheel setup yet nothing changes as far as force feedback settings? Why shouldn't it automatically optimize?

Subsequent patches will obviously fix the things we notice need to be fixed, but bugs are always there in the beginning. I think the starting point for ACC on the PS5 is surprisingly good. They will fix the issues, but we can see this game and its core promises will be delivered. Very excited about this. GT7 will be very popular, but the hard core simmers can always depend on ACC, and we will continue to. Fewer trolls at the locked levels with the ACC system. I will own GT7 as well but will always rely on ACC for my truer sim.

Personally used the free Ps5 upgrade as a buffer/training period till GT7 comes out. Beautiful game, incredible physics and force feedback. But the bugs concerning Online matching matching/racing have completely killed any excitement for competitive racing for me. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

I'm disappointed that they released it with so many bugs. A lot of them would have been picked up with even a small level of beta testing. To me that says a lot about a lack of care for the product. I really hope they get it fixed because they've got an amazing opportunity. I will pick it up again when I hear that at least some of the bugs are fixed.

I used to have a massive delay in the wheel on my PS4. I thought I was just an idiot, and sucked at driving. Until I drove acc on pc at a friend's place. Bought that friends old sim-pc, and never looked back

@@Jardier I have both a PS4 Pro and PS5 (separate rigs in different locations). I suspect the PS4 Pro gives substantially better performance than the base PS4. I cut my teeth on the Pro, and found it quite good, although the PS5 - running the PS4 version, initially, until the PS5 version update) - is really good. I've seen Basic Ollie's review of the updated PS5-only version, and reviews from a few others, and whilst the driving experience may be really good, the setup (even loading the game), has really big issues.

Visually a massive step up from PS4 version running on PS5. Biggest bug for me is weak feedback on Fanatec CSL Elite compared to PS4 version. It’s one of the most important aspects of a sim to get right so I hope they fix it soon.

Totally agree. The same with Fanatec DD1. I think it’s a FFB’s bugs on Fanatec wheels, my teammates with other brands indicate a better FFB compared to PS4.

Is theres a “delay with the wheel” as you said in the beginning, make sure your TV is on game mode. This is very important that not many people understand. Game mode make sure you are getting the lowest possible input lag. If you have this off, your TV is doing all sorts of post processing to make the image look best, it’s ideal for watching movies. But when gaming it will cause input lag.

Hi. If you have a too dark screen in the menu and when driving at night, just change the settings in the "screen" menu on the PS5 "color range" to "limited" and HDR off. It helps me

For anyone dismissing this game on looks or performance. Realize that this is a small team not EA budget. The work that has gone into the car realism stunning even more now. The audio is improved for surround sound and headphones. Lastly it's way better on controller too. This will be my favorite racing game of all time now. It's such a success story of a small team that released the game back in 2018 got hated on and now everyone is coming back together to play it and experience the joy of sim racing.

Online part might have been desynched, a problem that seems to show up in more and more games after release. If you remember our forza time we had desynch issues too. No doubt they will fix it quickly. Some UI bugs but other than that looks really good. Thanks for showing!

Coming from fighting games, really sensitive to input delay, console versions of games usually have around 2 frames at 60fps worth of input delay more than on PC. As far as my understanding it's because of V-sync and possibly graphics processing. I try to steer clear of console version where I can just because of this.

1.8 console update. Many of us are waiting patiently with building excitement. We all have only 9 days left till the major release what will change ACC gameplay a lot. I’m from London UK and have been racing AC and ACC on PS4 and PS5. I’ve raced over 1000+ hours on AC and over 1000+hrs on ACC PS4 version. Now building up big time on PS5. Joined a league, 10TENTH RACING COMMUNITY, fantastic! True addict, aren’t you? Since release of ACC I had many serious problems with the game. And with every new update, with release of PS5 console, with new ACC console version I have felt a lot of new optimistic expectations followed by disappointment and a letdown from game developers. I’ve been lucky to always have a good FFB on my T300 Ferrari Alcantara edition and now DD1, but there were other problems what took a lot of nerve and patience. It’s hard to remember all the issues but there are few what stand out to me. For example not able to join multiplayer and the proposed fix was to delete my carefully selected 300 racing friends from AC and ACC. Of course I refused to do that and kept waiting till issue was fixed. That was a big wait but I used time to practice my racing in single player. Another problem is crashing Career. It crashed on three occasions trying to complete career endurance race of 3hours non stop racing. It crashed twice somewhere in last leg. Other day I completed the race, crossed finish line and while checking lap times game crashed not saving my career endurance progress. I was fuming! Another issue we all experienced was game simply crashing midrace, it happened a lot. So annoying and was makings me really angry when I had a good race. Then replay save crash needs to be looked at. Even now after all possible updates on PS5 software and ACC PS5 version updates I am experiencing game crashes, some DD1 disconnects, poor visuals as shading under cars, cars flickering. Other minor game bugs - Pit entrance notice issue, not able to use mapped buttons to look left/right as I can on AC version, no in cockpit turn indicators and headlighs LED’s. Sound issues after watching replay and rejoining track. One occation I had cockpit view flickering in career race, there was no flickering from outside view. Many gamers have poor FFB and other issues with game. The most major is game crashing and disconnects while racing leagues Championships. Over 2 years time since ACC console release game is not in a perfect state yet, but it’s playable and enjoyable. I wish there was more communication and a HELPING HAND between Kunos and UntoldGames who develops console version now. I wish thee was more communication from 505games what is distributor’s of console ACC. And I believe we console players deserve an APOLOGY from 505 games and Kunos for a big letdown because I believe game is not completed, it’s got many problems and is like in a beta version. We PS5 players are lucky to have both versions available to play side by side on PS5. I switch between PS5 and PS4 version because PS5 lobbies has small attendance numbers. With 1.8 version PS5 and Xbox UntoldGames has to nail it. No excuses, it has to be perfection. Watching official Kunos ytube channel I learned Marcos, Aris and team still have that passion, they put a lot of effort developing PC 1.8 version what is a massive overhaul of ACC what changed already great game to something fascinating and they are proud of it. Would be shame if UntoldGames would do a poor job with console 1.8 version and drop all that KUNOS effort down in a mud. We don’t know what to expect precisely, announcement stated upgraded tyre model and 400hz + different liveries? We will see. Researching PC 1.8 update, numerous patch notes and reviews I learned about UPDATED rain visuals, rain tyre handling, rain track limits, cars BOP’s, reworked replay camera angles, mist and dew conditions, car night lights, bmw fuel consumption,there is so much more. PC 1.8 version is always updated. So which 1.8 version + latest update we console gamers will receive is not known yet. But it will change the game for sure.

I've been playing on console since it first came out a couple of years ago and have stuck with it through all the changes. A year ago I got a CSL elite and then a PS5. With two versions of the game, the hardware, and CDA setups, I've probably dropped $1400 altogether so it's hard to want to invest in a high level PC at this point. The wheel made more difference than anything. It's the only sim title out there for console, so I can't complain. I think the US market has given up on it though, judging from always finding zero players in the Dallas server in multiplayer regardless of the time. The video was informative-- thanks. I laughed when you mentioned all the work console folks do to setup cars. I've spent 2 hours at a time putting some in on a given weekend.

I have series X acc and a PS4 pro for gt sport and GT7 25th pre ordered 😉. I enjoy acc on a pad I have no wheel or pedals and I think the next gen update is really good and games alright on a pad. yeah the biggest problem with setups is on PC you just copy paste file, but on ps5 you cant do that :( One really bad thing about ACC for PS5 to be fair :(

Yes there are several bugs on release. A bit of delay in the wheel that might be on my side. And some other stuff. But I believe those will get fixed hopefully asap. What do you guys think on ACC on PS5? For me: + Graphics + FPS - so many bugs but mostly hud only Def happy to see ACC on consoles but sad the release didnt go as planned. Hopefully it will gets fixed and we will get awesome game on Next Gen Consoles! :) Hopefully Im not too harsh in this video but that was my first experience as player 20 hours after release.

For me lots of frame drops and stuttering with 30 A.I. cars on the grid (Brands Hatch) and it was on Clear Weather. I think PS5 cant run ACC stable with 30 cars on 4K 60fps. Or maybe balancing is not good for the game. I think 2K with very stable 60fps would be better.

Hi Jardier, It's ok for you because you can just go back to your PC and enjoy racing. Us console users are stuck with this buggy mess for who knows how long because Kunos/505 Games does not communicate with the console community. Also, keep in mind that the previous generation game also had numerous bugs that were never resolved.

hi man first time viewers here i do like acc on ps5 and the delay you feel on the wheel is not so much about the delay but if im not mistaken on pc the Hz of your fanatec or any wheel is much much higher meaning the way your motor conects and talks to your pc pretty much instantaneous is at 1000Hz and on ps5 i don't know the number but its lower much lower maybe devs with another update they can fix that or maybe the ps5 is usable to output 1000Hz trough that usb port but i dont see a problem neither there because is a 3.0 so who knows man more updates and lots of 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 for devs to fix all that because is the best gt sim we have on consoles.

I had ACC on an old PS4, it was terrible. Not only because of the poor FPS that gave you a headache just looking at the screen, but there were other issues, like the brakes being virtually non existent and the steering being awful. The lights have always been an issue on the consoles. I’ve now switched to PC and it’s a totally different game. Much more enjoyable and consistent. The console version came out in 2020 and it’s still not right. It’s just not worth bothering with on the console.

Bonjour Jardier, i am playing assetto corsa competizione for 1 year now and i like very much the realist and the driving of the game. But yes there is a big but, i believe that the game i more a setting game instead of a driving game. i drive about 2 hours every other day but i spend half of the time setting the car and i am not an don't want to be and engineer. I feel that i can never compare myself why the other player because my setting is not good. Please please feed the major disappointment people have about not been able to race on fix setup in the game on daily races to Kunos. With the new gt7 coming out i will probably not play asset any more. I like to drive not to setup i car. Thank you for your channel that i watch regularly.

The game, at least on SX (but I think it's the same for PS too) is full of bugs, starting with the controls for the steering wheel (Logitech G920) which are buggy. Impossible to swap brake and clutch, tire wear problems, embarrassing AI and even reset the rating one had. We hope that the next version (1.8) will solve these problems. For now it is unplayable

When you consider that it is really the only top line racing Sim available for consuls, it’s actually pretty solid. I’ve never play a Sim on PC, but I have pretty much played every even semi realistic Consol racing game in the last 20 years, and this makes them all feel exactly the same. Don’t get me wrong, GT sport is great for what it is, Forza motorsport, Forza horizon, project cars two, they’re all great for what they do, but after playing this, they all feel relatively inert.

Yeah, if your just Into racing gt group cars, the best..... As it should be. I enjoy it, my second racer next to gt sport. Gt just has a bit more polish overall and online is superiot to Acc. In my mind, acc and gt sport had a child.... The ultimate

They will certainly fix a lot of these bugs with the 1.8. I just don't understand how so many obvious bugs got overlooked, surely they had testers driving this thing.

Because the publisher just wants to capitalize on the brand for some easy money. The console versions are made by some studio that has no experience or pride in what they are porting, all while being under some extreme deadlines from the publisher that gave them the contract. And if you look at the last gen releases too it is clear that the porting studios just don't really understand racing sims.

I don't think u need to change wheel settings anymore for each car..if your wheel goes to 1080/900 leave it at that and it will automatically change for the car your driving 😁

The multi player is wrecked ATM sure hope they fix this soon. Single player has issues to. But multi is broken. Heart broken until they get it fixed. This has been my happy place now not so happy. Lol

I wonder if there is a difference with wheels if you use USB-C port instead. I was having issues on GT-sport with my wheel on the PS5, dongled it to the USB-C on the front and it solved the issue. I’ll have to test it.

On ps5 with fanatec csl elite the force feedback is too weak. Almost no resistance. Mirror is pixlated but not bothered about that. The ff needs fixing soon. Cant say I'll be spending much time in it until the wheel feel is sorted

@Willy Bimmer yes, I downloaded the latest drivers via laptop (my original interface didn't work as there's a new version, so I had to get the new app from fanatec first). Set it to max ff on the wheel and max gain in ACC but still has no feel. A bit like 10% ff would normally feel

On the wheel delay issue, what kind of a screen was it plugged into? A tv? try game picture mode. possibly the picture is delayed and not the wheel

On PS4 they never gave one shit, D3T ported it over and did a few updates, that’s it. I’m not holding my breath for how they will treat this on PS5

The mirror in the car isn’t the best resolution but compared to the pc it doesn’t break down. (tree’s or buildingd disappearing etc) Thats a tiny plus compared to the pc. And concerning the lag in the wheel, isn’t there an option for the wheel lock like on the pc?

I feel like I’m not doing something right!! I’m on Xbox series x just getting into sim racing. When I go to multiplayer there is nobody in the servers. There are a few here and there though. When I do get into servers with people it’s like nothing counts. My laps and times are not counting. Is there something I am missing? Thanks for any responses in advance

the ps5 version keeps reset my wheel settings and when wakes up from sleep the ps5 would not recognize the wheel

If there is a delay in the wheel, check your wheel settings and rotation. I hear you talk about alot of bugs? I did not see many though. Also did you ever play this game online? Because the way you react the online race starts? It is pretty normal the way it does.

The support for Wheels in ACC for console ive heard is quite bad. Hopefully its fixed in 1.8 for console...

Hi Jardier, I've got the xbss version and the ffb just disappears and then comes back, bmw m4 shows up as a lambo on setup menu and the steering ratio no longer works lol😂. I know they will sort it and hopefully soon
