Aurora is my main tank, and i think the biggest problem is she's not a typical TANK on the sight of mitigation, but more like a Mage tank. From traditional mitigation perspective, a "good" tank is supposed to be in a high armor, high hp, and other defense skills like parry (not in this game) or dodge. But the key mitigation for Aurora is dodge, which extremely depends on the fortune. This is why sometimes the squad with Aurora tank can defeat the same Dante team, whereas sometimes not. One successful dodge of spiking damage, even just 1 hit, can determine the result. So as I see, dodge is not an ideal main stat for a tank, at least it shouldn't be prioritized to tanks, especially with lowering her other mitigation stats. BUT, Aurora is still one of the best tanks, even one of the best heroes, as she is such a versatile tank, fitting into most teams. Most significantly, she is a MAGE tank and contributes a ton of dps in the battle. In PVP scenes, as the battle has the time limit, Aurora's most valuable contribution is her dps, largely being able to shorten the fight time and assisting on killing opponent's key heroes such as the tank. This is the same logic as to build Dante team. Her skills (mostly offensive in dps) leads herself never to be a meaty tank, but a semi-dps, as I see. So the victory boils down to saving her with all the best, and I prefer Celest to be her guardian healer. Anyway, she is no doubt a vulnerable tank, with quite obvious weaknesses, but still deserves the investment.

i new here and also used auora as tank with yasmine (i'm not yet reaching violet level btw). she is like giving time for my other heroes by standing in front dodging. and her artifact weapon gives dodges also to the whole team. thats like giving me another time. and with yasmine in action in 10 seconds since the match start i already have advantage 5 vs 4 fight bcoz yasmine has done her job (kill weak armor hero) where against non helios/corvus team

Aurora has always been meta ... Shines well at max. Great Tank. Not fair to assess her when not maxed. Her new ascension skills crazy boost her damage dealing & with max Cain and tank flag she Ults after 2 dodges.

I run Aurora with Celeste and ODH (web version) with Cain and for the most part she's been solid.

Aurora, Twins, Martha and Celeste maxed out kick a** in attacks against most of the maxed Dante teams on my server. Only in rare occurances I have to replace Celeste with Heidi, Nebula, Jorgen, Sebastian or Andvari. Obviously against Isaac teams you really need to switch away from the Martha/Twins/Aurora core. Never regretted to max her and I never saw her die by a single Dante hit.

I wasnt very smart about the game so i leveled Galahad up first. He is the face of the game so i just assumed he was one of the of the best heros but he was actually one of the worst. Maybe my stupidity will finally pay off

I think both M&S and Julius are great, though still missing skins. All tanks can work in most situations, it's more important to have the supporting cast with them!

@@HeroWarsCentral thank you for the reply. I have Corvus max-maxed and Rufus is close second. Aurora and Astaroth are around 99k, but I am not sure of what they bring to the table. No variety. Is looking for a tanky tank,. My supports are all at a good level. MS and Julius- please do a comparison video of all tanks, and against what type of opponent teams they are good?

Aurora and Cain were the first hero and pet, I maxed out, and was able to get through adventure 13 and finish first the Arena! Great hero, but other teams will become a problem later in the game

Since I maxed out Aurora's new skin been able to finish first in the Arena for 3 weeks straight! Only #70 on server ranking, Aurora is better than I originally thought!💜

There aren't a ton of places for her in the end game. She and Cain were my first maxed set. She's still the only one I've completely maxed. Before hitting 900k power opponents, she was always in my attack team. Since 900k, I've found very few opponents where she's the best choice, even being the highest power I have. Still, no regret bringing her up.

that's because tanks shouldn't be game changers... later on other maxed out heroes take the charge... but aurora can protect the team against PA with her dodge weapon, she could be used in pair with magic damage ulting heroes and I use arachne to boost MP on her... I'm top10 arena player and get 1st places on daily basis with all teams being 1,1m

Aurora is still useful in pretty much every game mode. She's a lot easier to counter on defense than before, but you can still beat a lot of teams with her on offense, and she tanks very well against Osh's spheres for a secondary Asgard team too.

Funny, I found her in most fights. Even with red artifacts, where whales already reach 1.1M, I still could defeat them if my team fits and aurora contributes most of my damage

Not worth upgrading the additional stats on her which dont improve her survivability and remember she is not a dmg dealer. With issac, increase magical damage makes her team dies faster to issac.

@@HeroWarsCentral Aurora has worked out for me a lot. In the begging I never liked her but when I leveled her, I wish I could take away the resources I put into Chabba. I can't wait for her ascension since I have her ascension rank 4.

she has the most pets on her, she has the best weapon artifact (plus cain on her she ults like crazy keeping dodge level at almost 70-80%) against PA... she has great magical defense... great DPS... I find her the most advanced tank... she only has that Iris as a great enemy... all others she can handle well... you put Cain - sh's ulting like crazy, you can put axel against critters, oliver to keep her alive longer... almost every pet has some good options with her...

@@MakaayYazhnam Can't say it better. I beat much stronger team (in power) with Aurora as a tank. She just need faster healer like Celeste in order to avoid big hits when miss dodge. Axel is best team pet in most of teams with her. The biggest problem is the same like at all other tanks (except Ruffus) - Iris.

then just leave Julius as a baby (maybe level weapon to max) with less then 50k health (Axel patronage) and pair Aiden with him and see the magic happens... no investment in a tank and a far best deal in the game.

Astaroth is really great against the dante meta, specially dante + nebula + sebastian + whatever hero... a team with astaroth + heida can break easily the dante meta. Astaroth rulez and sadly aurora sucks

@@robertorpg2132 Your comment proves you have no idea what you are talking about. Aurora is one of the best counters to Dante, as well as being the best frontline hero to counter him. Not only can she dodge his attacks, but her ult which does magic damage is very effective against him. Just like Dante, she can ult almost nonstop while dodging.
