Awka wasn't a typical village stop saying what u don't know,do u know when water board,nitel,Asutec,Nipost,Njikoka NEPA district headquarters.are you aware that Awka was the headquarter of Njikoka local government area old anambra state,most of the roads in awka was constructed by the military early 80s

Awka still have this village outlook, not really like state capital. Very dusty, red sand everywhere, no gardens and flowers.
