Bought it, played it for 5 hours straight. I also had the demo. This game is awesome! And for everyone out there thinking about buying it, just try the FREE DEMO first. It's a really good demo! I recommend this game!

I didnt even play the demo because i assumed i would love it based on my (casual) love for poker and i was right.

I think they removed the demo when the game was launched. That seems to be a standard practice with a lot of games nowadays.

No demo atm but you can always play it for less than 2 hours and ask for a refund if you didn't like it. Tho that's imposible because this game is a total addiction I want my life back lol

Fun game. I love deck builders in general, but this one might be easier for people to get into since the base game is just poker. There's a ton of complexity in terms of upgrades you can apply to the run, but most them are external to the cards themselves. That probably makes it a lot easier to grasp than having to read a deck full of unique cards that each have their own rules, and you need to do the colored yarn on a cork board thing in order to puzzle it all out. That's not to say figuring out upgrade synergy and combos isn't hugely important, because that's a huge part of the game. Easy to pick up, with a lot of depth to it. And who doesn't like poker?

The game is so in depth and the amount of different potential combinations makes it so good, and you dont even need to know too much to win a run or go super in depth, but for endless mode youll probably need it

One correction. You mentioned there's eight worlds and three antes. There's 8 antes and 3 blinds (small blind, big blind and boss blind). But other than that, good review! :) Glad you're enjoying the game. I sure am!

Flush is OP, you can get rid of or transform pretty much a complete suit. My winning runs are always with flush being my best hand

Balatro is a great game, but It is probably the first indie game that I loved for 20-ish hours and then just got so bored at some point that I've never picked it up again. Battle brothers and FTL for example are games that I always go back to and have like 1500 hours on them combined.

The game doesn’t require vast poker knowledge to find success in it. I think anyone can get a busted run quite easily and learn the basics very fast. It’s a great game

Hey thanks for watching and supporting the videos! Can't thank you enough for that! Yea id say this game teaches you the basics that you need to know early and it's just making certain hands with cards. The runs get kinda crazy fat with jokers and buffs, but i do feel anyone can learn it fast

Just a heads up, the pronunciation of Balatro isn't necessarily one way or another but in the trailer it is pronounced as Bal-atro not buhlatro. Buhlatro just sounds like a fancy sandwich lol Game is goated great review!
