yes exactly my thought and I wouldn't buy these every year or at every events I go to but if they were rechargable and customisable it might be different. I dont understand why he needs to sell 6 of these in packs and not 3 for example that could be rechargeable with a USB charger like earbuds uses. Good idea but terrible way to make a product. Its a one time product and you wont have any thrill to buy these again.

I see another alternative use is that it may be able to be used on the Christmas trees on some spots or maybe house deco on some spots some might want to avoid having long wires dangling along. If they do find some way to charge or power it a few times it might end up quite rebough for reusability and could use a recycling campaign to produce more of those.

We recently saw these ornaments in Austin Halloween night trail. The balloon artist were making balloons and putting one of them in. It died after 48 hours, and when balloons burst we opened it and saw it. So definitely they are no just restrictive to Christmas but bunch of other stuff. It was pumpkin colored lighted one. So definitely they are doing some business. But wastage of products is obvious. It just goes in trash. And in era of sustainable products and climate change, we did feel it was a waste.
