Completely agree with you on the sequel. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. There were too many subplots, at least 2 could have been cut and the movie would have been the same. Still, it was fun and nostalgic to be back in the world of Beetlejuice.

Completely agree with your review of the movie. The subplots were kinda pointless and didn't have a satisfying ending. BUT my husb and I laughed so much, it was a fun watch (laughed mainly at the ridiculousness 😂)

I’m on the same page as you re: the sequel. It was great to be in that world again. I was relieved to see Burton back to practical effects (and when the VFX were used, they were subtle). The actual story? Meh. Take it or leave it. Would I recommend others see it? Absolutely!

Spoiler Warning. I enjoyed Beetlejuice 2. They had two good villains they could have used better. They rushed both off the screen. With simple solutions how to get rid of them. The singing is more cringe than fun too. Unlike the first film. Still I enjoyed the movie. It just rushes to be as short as the first film. Maybe even shorter.
