MMG, you're low-key very intelligent, in my opinion. Edit: And no you're not a bad person for saying 'fit is more attractive'. Fat chicks were the rage back in the 1600's to 1750's. That's why most of the women in Baroque period paintings were huge compared to today's standard of attraction. Back then being obese meant you were wealthy. Poor people didn't get obese because they literally couldn't afford it. Now back to the NCAA 25, but I did enjoy this!

I’m a 21 year old man. I’m 6’5 265 lbs my bmi is right around 29 or 30. Speaking as an overweight man I can say with certainty that it is hard to become fit and stay in shape, but it is the most satisfying thing ever. 2 years ago I weighted 290 lbs and I constantly felt like sludge. Lethargic all the time hungry all the time just wanted a 20 piece nuggie meal from mcd’s. Starting MMA has saved my life. It has been a slow process and I’m nowhere near where I want to be weight or physique wise but I feel 1000 times better now than I did back at 290. Anybody who thinks they can be fat because they want to is lying to themselves, coping so they can eat their fudge rounds and triple quarter pounder with extra cheese. It’s hard but it’s absolutely worth it to increase quality of life.

A good time for that should be around 1.25 miles in that ten minutes, around 60-75 push-ups in the 2 and a half, I’m not sure about the sit-ups. But good job man, keep up the good work. Maybe work in a good 2 minute to 3 minute plank.

Fat guy here, going on Ozempic soon. I'm over 300 lbs, I have an unhealthy addiction to food, and I have ADHD, which makes me more susceptible to impulsivity. It is incredibly difficult to lose weight from where I am. I have tried keto, have tried no sugar, have tried all sorts of diets, but due to my own impulsivity and my poor willpower I usually only last a few weeks to a month on these diets. Ozempic, or wegovy, will remove the food noise that plagues me; the constant hum of using food to substitute stimulation. Whenever I'm bored, I eat. Whenever I can eat, really, I eat. The medicine I'm taking for my ADHD does have a side effect in that it is an appetite suppressant, but the effects have weakened as I've gotten older. What ozempic does is slows down how quickly I digest the food I eat, so I feel full longer, and it suppresses the impulsive decisions that lead to my constant eating. Ozempic is, by all accounts, an easier way to lose weight. It could even be considered a cheat code. However, ozempic shouldn't be viewed as taking the easy way, even if it might be - ozempic is just another way to lose weight, which helps people feel better mentally. Once they feel better, they have less of an urge to overeat. I'm looking forward to taking it, because I know that it will change my life. I can't continue to live like a fat slob, eating whole pizzas for dinner and going back for seconds, thirds, maybe fourths. I have to change, and ozempic will help me do so. Thanks.

Also, I love you but calories in is not the same as calories out, you can’t tell me that if youeat 2000 cal worth of honey buns vs. 2000 cal worth of ribeye that you’re gonna have the same effect. No, you’re gonna crash on the honey buns and the ribeye will keep you good all day long.

It’s less about physical quantity of food but more about calorie intake. You can eat an entire homemade pizza (with the right ingredients choices) and it could be less calories than 1 slice of dominoes which is the point. Make better choices and make food at home and track calories your life will be much better

just want to chime in as a nursing student with limited schooling, In our classes and even in my own personal life I have seen that it is very difficult to eat healthy. You even mentioned it in the video about people not being able to drive to get food or having to buy their food from dollar general, and this is very true. Areas like these are called food deserts and they are actually very common, even in big cities. You also have to factor in the family dynamics, think about single parents raising their kids and overworking themselves while also providing food. It makes it a lot harder for people in these situations to cook and on top of that, living in a lower income area makes it harder to cook good food when you have a gas station as your only source of groceries within a 10 mile radius. Also, people have very little food literacy in America and it is a serious problem. So while yes it is about forming healthy habits please be sympathetic towards obese people cause a majority know they are this way and do not want to be and it is not just simply from being lazy.

It’s a choice. When I chose to eat right work out consistently and just be healthy I went from the heaviest of my life 270 down to 160. Then I chose to get cocky and lose grip and put weight back on. Then I had a kid and it skyrocketed again. Some life events can affect your weight but it’s mostly personal choice.
