Is Belle Tress Crushed Almond Blonde R a dupe for Raquel Welch Shaded Biscuit?

I love Shaded Biscuit…it’s one of my favorite blonde shades. Crushed Almond Blonde-R is beautiful!! They’re definitely VERY similar! I think the rooting on both colors are nicely done. BT is my favorite brand. I love her for designing wigs that are always the very best quality with no permatease or very little permatease which is really not noticeable in her wigs. I’m extremely happy BT has added Crushed Almond Blonde to their available colors. Thank you Denise for making this very valuable video for your wig sisters. A BT shorter, Crushed Almond Blonde will definitely be one of the next wigs I add to my collection. 😊

Hey Denise! I have totally enjoyed wearing BT Crushed Almond R! I also enjoy both Biscuits, rooted and unrooted! I have SELFIE MODE in both colors! During Covid, the variations were awful on Shaded Biscuit. I started to wear the unrooted color, 19/23, Biscuit, in order to enjoy many RW styles. As they added Shaded Iced Sweet Cream, and the Iced Sweet Cream, I loved the color there too, just not available on many styles, and the dark roots are quite contrasting on a couple of the wig styles where it is available. So, since I found the very same thing occuring with BT Butterbeer Blonde and Cream Soda Blonde, I began hunting for alternatives, with neutral to cool blondes with lighter rooting. I landed on BT Tres Leches Blonde,🎉😊❤ Crushed Almond R, and with RW, I am all over the map😅😂 Now, as the Cafe Collection is becoming phased out, I have found fabulous styles and colors in the new City Collection. However, I think that the challenge is to find the color that matches Tres Leches Blonde. Though I do adore the Crushed Almond's R lighter root much more, as it is light and neutral, there is wide variation on the color of RW wigs produced during the pandemic! The NEWER STYLES are closer with Shaded Biscuit and Crushed Almond R. I think the solution would be to add 2 colors to RW. One would be a color like Iced Sweet Cream, a creamy, neutral platinum color blonde (16/22) and add in very fine highlights utilizing a super pearly blonde and then even finer lowlights of a neutral honey blonde underneath and from the crown and nape area! The second would be the same coloring with a light "bronde" root. This would fill the gap!(LOL, providing it is actually available on lots of styles.) Then, they need to add in a color like a twraked Roca Margarita Blonde to BT. Color is so personal and very important in how those with hairloss navigate picking their wigs!

I can't believe you did this comparison. I've been procrastinating over buying Belfast in crushed almond but wasn't sure if the root would be too dark. I also have SUWAT in shaded biscuit so now I know I will like Belfast. Thank you so much xxx

Yes, I remember I couldn’t believe it when everyone was raving about how beautiful it was! I ordered it & couldn’t wait to get it boy was I disappointed , it was awful! Will never order that color again!

Thank you so much!! To answer your question, no, I do not. I actually rarely wear wigs around the house for many reasons. The first is that I run hot and so wearing wigs exacerbates that. While I love wigs, I don't love wearing them all the time. To me they aren't more comfortable than my bear head, lol. I will say, though... before I buzzed my hair off I was very uncomfortable wearing nothing on my head as my super thin hair bothered me so much. I would wear wigs, hat wigs, hats, bandanas... anything to cover my hair. Ever since I buzzed my hair off, I don't feel that way at all! Now, I don't ever go out of the house with my buzzed head, but I feel totally comfortable walking around the house with it. It really made a dramatic difference in how I feel about my hair, and even how comfortable wigs are. Hi Denise! Thank you for the review/comparison. I recently purchased a RW ss biscuit wig. It is so much darker, not the roots, but the overall look. I had heard this from others. I was wondering if you have heard this, and, if so, why did RW change this color. Ty

You know, I hadn't until a few people commented that on my review of this wig where I mentioned Shaded Biscuit. I haven't had a new Raquel Welch wig in this color in a long time so I will have to see if I can get my hands on one.... stay tuned while I see what I can do!

I was told Shaded Biscuit and Milkshake Blonde were dupes. My Milkshake Blonde is a tad brighter. Also was told Crushed Almond is comparable to Bombshell Blonde. Too many blondes and not enough brunettes. Fall is here don't they know? 😂

I had heard the same thing, too. I guess I will have to order a BT in crushed almond blonde and see with my own eyes since I have some pieces already in milkshake blonde and shaded biscuit. The good news is that these are all beautiful colors so one can’t really go wrong. 🎉
