Justin you're definitely not alone in the world when it comes to Big Sean's verse on Control. Personally I think he had the best verse on the song. Also when you brought up Kendricks subliminals for Big Sean on The Heart Part 4 and Humble, you didn't mention the Element version (roll call) that leaked a whole ago? It had the beat and chorus which were eventually used for Paramedic on the Black Panther album instead, and he called out French Montana and Big Sean on it. Definitely worth checking that out if you haven't heard it. There's been no confirmation from Kendrick about whether it's real, but Jay Rock was asked about it in a video and he said he thought it probably was real.

Call me crazy but I think he’s not dissing Dot, he’s dissing Drake and some bars are for Kanye. I can’t help but to think he’s talking about Drake in these bars: “It's mixed in your inner circle, niggas is half hating” and “Niggas be complaining too much, quit acting lightskinneded But trust when I see yo' dark side I got night vision Going hard its Dr. Umar on white women”. In my opinion, Big Sean lays claim to the most improved rapper, at least in recent memory. In the beginning of his career, he put out so much mid it's a miracle he survived. this long Granted, I think some of that was the fault of Kanye & GOOD Music, but it seems like he was better known for his affiliations or his tendency to get bodied on his own tracks. Sean has only relatively recently begun to rap at this level.
