Billy Donovan has proved he is not the right coach , look at his record. How many games did they come out in the first quarter not motivated giving up 40 pts repeatedly. He is not a motivator. His substitutions and game adjustments were horrendous.

HELL NAW!!!!! Billy Donovan needs to be fired. He left the OKC Thunder because he didn't want to coach a young team going through a rebuild. What sense does it make for Billy Donovan to be here anymore? GO!!!!! Go back to coaching college kids where he was most successful. The Bulls don't need him anymore.

Yo Chicago. Giddy gonna bring the Bulls some exciting times. He will grow quicker if he can stay healthy. His knowledge, patients and on floor vision will grow huge as the team plays more together. He can do top and post,rebound, start fast break and throw passes that you won't even know how it got there. Harden the kid up Chicago and develop his stiff upper lip. No Bill Donovan has not had the team in place for his objective. He has always had teams with a good PG who ran the floor. He's believes in transition and defense converting to transition. The problem with this team is will they rebound, will they play defense, and is Giddey really transition in the full court. That's what made Zo special. The ball never touched the floor and a layup occurs off a rebound. Zo could make the steal himself and turn it into a transition. This is a very unique talent and I think the Bull underestimated the ability for the team to do it. Giddey is a good passer but he's not Zo. Zo will get the steal and make the long pass down the floor. He made the hockey assist to keep the ball moving.

I don't understand why BD would want to stay for a rebuild with the Bulls when he didn't want to stay with OKC for their rebuild. I hope he's gone after his extensions up in two years, if not earlier!

Although, I was one for trading Lonzo Ball and his contract after the 1st knee surgery. I'm beginning to think dumping his salary is a bad idea. 1. The Bulls will have to attach draft picks in any salary dump. 2. I'm not sold on Josh Giddey being anything more than a tank player for lottery draft picks. 3. I don't expect the same defensive intensity from Zo due to his limitations with his knees, but his basketball IQ in running an offense is needed for this young rebuilding squad that wants to play an uptempo pace of basketball. And 4. As long as he's able to play he's an asset for this team with his 3 pt shooting.

Giddey will be pushing triple doubles IF the coach trusts him with the ball AND if his team mates can hit the open looks he gives them. I've watched him for all 3 seasons and half of the issues was okcs missing the open 3 ball untill this last year. Also the amount of games he won for OKC when they were down by 1 with less than a second left and giddey pass hits an open lap up or a 3 for the win was insane. Let him cook.

@ecobean3440 I must admit I know nothing of the bulls since Jordan's days as I follow fellow Aussies. Giddey is leading the Australians in the Olympics and we are in Canada's group so you can get an idea on giddey before the season opener if you want. You could also check out giddey running okc vs Boston where they scored 150 without SGA. He will get the others scoring easy buckets

​@@danratcliff5353 I've seen Giddey's game mostly against the Bulls. He put up good stats against them. However, OKC as a team is stacked with talent. They're tall, move without the ball, have bench depth, and shoot well from 3. They should be contenders in the Western Conference for the next 5 years or more. It wasn't Josh Giddey's play that has me saying that. It was SGA, Jalen Williams, Isaiah Joe, Kenrich Williams, and Chet Holmgren. For Giddey to avg a triple double he will have to have scorers around him who can hit the 3 pt shot. Unless Dalen Terry, Julian Phillips, Ayo Dosunmu, P. Will, and Jalen Smith improve as scorers I don't see Giddy averaging dbl digit assists.

Wait until Luka gets 400 million. The Knicks just gave their 4th option $215 in Anunoby. It's not to be critical of Patrick but just to say how is it hampering anything when Pat, who is still out with a foot injury and has no expected return, received 90 million easily for what you claim Zach hasn't done.

Billy Donovan is the worst possible coach I don’t know why they’ve held on to him this long, smh, he has proven nothing, and then the bulls let go of their star players without finding someone that can glue the players together, A REAL COACH, and now they are rebuilding AGAIN from scratch, the bulls fans should be very disappointed, you need a good coach to help STAR players.
