Bismarck can be a fun ship when the enemy team isn't constantly farming your superstructure. I am of the opinion that the cooldown on battleships' repair parties in Legends is a bit too long. The maps are smaller than PC, so combat occurs at shorter ranges. This makes it more difficult for BBs to disengage, so I think they should be able to at least heal more often to compensate. My high rank german BB commanders give me 2 extra heals, but I rarely get to use them before I get focused down or the mtch ends.

Got this little beauty in a crate yesterday. Stacked all the secondary mods etc then finished top of the team for 4 matches in a row...am really impressed with this ship....and being English, it kinda hurts 🙄

I've had 4 krakens in legends. 1 in West Virginia, One in Baltimore, one in Bayern, and one in Bismarck. I've played Odin most, but I grinded the German BBs first, then I went full German and American tech trees.

The Bismarck B looks good. However, I think the paint scheme should take a different color palette. Like take the Baltic stripe camo on the original Bismarck, but in a black version with the stripes in white and red along with red German Iron Crosses in the bow and stern.

I will say that bismarck can be a good running gunner if you choose nikolay von essan and/or Andrew cunningham and Al scharnhorst (if you're a lucky enough to have her) as your inspirations, I don't even have Hyde and I find the main guns very useful even with a hybrid build and not full accuracy because I have good reload on them and the dispersion is useful enough to the point where you can do significant damage much more often with main gun salvos because the inspirations help negate that. When it comes to bismarck and the German battleships spartan I say this to you specifically, unlike more main gun centric battleships such as iowa and yamato you can very well defend yourself against moronic and arrogant destroyers, in which case I particularly refer to that one clip you showed in your yammy where you did your utter best to outplay a dd, saved yourself from torps in some situations but still couldn't save yourself because your secondarys couldn't do shit and all you had was your rear gun, the German battleships may have some undesirable traits but even with a full accuracy build they can effectively defend themselves if they make the right calls and are able to utilise the sonar, unlike iowa which I will jokingly say is a glorified speed boat

I just recently acquired the tech tree version of Bismarck and she's robust she's durable just as any ship with 15 in or above caliber vessel ought to be I would tell you those Spartan I have come to a conclusion via observation and immediate Carnage and destruction LOL My buddy Marcus has had this ship for over a year and I made the same mistake he did once the ship is upgraded it always gets put into matches where the majority of ships are either comparable to or hired here and I noticed it the day after I purchased it I was getting matched up with tier 6 ships continuously and the moment I put an upgrade on it she's now tier 7 or comparable or above and is that a problem is that a bad thing is that inherently a flaw in the game probably not. But I've been getting humble whacked since I put the app enhanced secondary battery range on it so I kind of look for trying to optimize I think the better credit strategy would have been not to upgrade it to stock considering my mortality rate has gone through the roof and my buddy's also sold and repurchased the ship since he bought it and again if it's stock it almost always gets matched up with tier 6 ships or comparable but I don't know it doesn't say it anywhere but we have the digital age no that doesn't mean there's not an effect. I don't know if I want to test that I just got the ship I don't want to sell it to just get rid of the upgrade that you can't take off the ship once purchased so a little more trial and error but if that's the case I just wish it would tell you that that way you can make a better informed decision but it is a video game

I’ve found an oddity with the PE Friedrich; I got annoyed by it still being shite with a dispersion build, so I switched to a secondary build, and suddenly my dispersion was much better 🤷🏻‍♂️ anyone else found this on the PE Friedrich or any other ship??

Yep I had the same problem so I did a full secundery build and it works fine, all my german ships are secundery build now.

If your not getting fire spammed good luck for the other team this thing is a gawdam tank with guns that come back under 25 seconds. I love this ship and in black it looks awesome. Nobody runs from a Bismarck until they look up and its 4 mins left in the match and they have a quarter health left and big Bismarck is coming around a gawdam island!!! Run hipper with Cunningham and Di revel for a dispersion build.. or run Ciliax with Di Revel and Hipper if you want secondary range and extra heals for tank build

I got it in a crate but I never played German BB because not accurate. And my Bismarck do nothing with secondary. Even if somebody is 3 km infront me secundary don’t shot. Why ?

@@Justin-st5xv exactly and if you're an experienced bismarck player but don't want to pay a small fortune then tirpitz is better, you're more encouraged to go main guns, you can make if significantly cheaper to buy and its a tier 7 premium which rain credits for you

Odin is a good strong ship, I have citadel a amagi from 18 km range with von hipper as commander in my odin. But yes I know amagi and bismarck are not same ship.

Otto cilliax can get you that 12km secondary range but because he's free and you don't have to pay a small fortune to get him your main gun accuracy is throw out the window and into a volcano, but hey!! Hyde can conveniently fix that by being able to put porcupine on with markmanship

@@tla1963 yea I think that her base stat is mirrored to hippers base stat, she give more secondary accuracy but less range (about 5% more range and roughly 15% more shell grouping or dispersion) while hippers base stat does the opposite

If I had to choose 1 of 2 ships, with one being premium, I will choose the premium 100% of the time! Premiums are almost always better, with a couple exceptions.
