Is Black+Decker 3-in-1 Waffle, Grill & Sandwich Maker Worth it?

*I bought this to replace an old Sunbeam waffle **MyBest.Kitchen** and pancake maker that my parents received as a wedding present. It is very simple to use and makes perfect waffles. I followed the instructions and lightly seasoned the waffle grids before using it the first time, and my waffles pop right out without any sticking at all. The indicator light system makes very consistent waffles, just slight the lever to the doneness you like, pour batter on when the green light is on and remove when the red light comes on. I can make four large waffles in about five minutes.*

Hi, just picked this up at my local Bed Bath & Beyond store in the clearance section. It was the "display" model & got it dirt cheap. I own several Black & Decker cooking products, so was sold there. I'm cooking for 1 person & this is great for me & small enough to travel with. The interchangeable plates is what sold me-cleaning will be easier. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks

I followed the ones on the pancake mix package but if you search online, any will work as long as you have the correct measurement

Great demo. I was wondering if it cooks evenly? It appears from the video that the bottom cooks darker than the top. Is that true?

Yeah I would say so and yes the bottom does cook darker so what I do now is cook it longer so both side is dark.
