Sam, what kind of monster goes to cut a "waffle" and doesn't cut on the perforated lines? I nearly had an anureism each time you made a cut. If it's not a right angle, it's a wrong angle. All that being said, that shit looked good. Love the channel, keep it up.
@Broctofoams2 жыл бұрын
Obviously he was cutting it that way so he could easily split it into 1/8th pieces. If he ate a 1/4th of every waffle he’d either be incredibly full or would end up wasting food. Think harder before you make an annoying comment next time dork
@johnb70462 жыл бұрын
@@Broctofoams He cuts it into 1/6 because there are 3 of them. So 2 pieces each. And eating 1 1/4 waffles wouldn't even make me full. What food would be wasted if all the recipes are for 1 waffle? Cutting it differently wouldn't change the amount of food cooked. People like you who tell others to 'think harder' are the epitome of annoying. And wrong to boot.

@@Broctofoams not so obvious 🙄. I thought that he was cutting it in 6. Like 1/2 then 1/3. I can’t tell the exact size, but if eating waffles, I regularly eat 2-4. So 1/4 of 5 would just be an appetizer. Last, 1/3 is more than 1/4.

I have been lurking, watching your channel for several years and this is my first comment. I have an older Waring waffle maker that is very similar to yours but mine is 100% metal. The entire unit is a metal casting and it is also NSF rated. I recall paying almost $300 for it about 15 years ago. Unfortunately the hinge (looks like plastic) in your unit broke under the high pressure you used in closing it with such a large amount of filling. I agree the clean-up of the unit is not always easy, but most of the time the oils in the food or batters is enough to allow the material to be easily removed from the exterior of the unit after about 10 minutes running on high. If you really like using your waffle iron for the "off label" uses, you should look into the all metal version.
