The dodge animation invincibility starts later than one would think and ends a tiny bit later than one would think. Some gear reeeaaaallly extends this duration.

From my perspective, Wukong outshines Elden Ring. I've played both games, and the graphics in Elden Ring feel completely outdated compared to Wukong. After experiencing Wukong's visuals, I don’t see myself going back to Elden Ring-the technology just feels outdated by comparison.

I don't agree with that. Elden ring's visuals are great, but in the end of the day, visuals aren't as important to most people. It may be to you, and that's ok, but in general(I'm inculding myself) graphics is barely in the top 10. Also everything I wrote depends on the game and genre.

@@galhahammusic same, if visual sucks, it sucks no matter how good the game is. Wukong 3x visual and 2x game play, 0.7 x boss fight and combat design compared to Elden Ring. That is a big win for me.

@@lilunchengsmiles well, that's only when the visuals are SO Bad that it makes the game worse. An example of a game with OK graphics that is really good and popular is DS1. It has it's problems, but it's very fun and you barely notice the graphics when you play. At least that's my experience, BUT To each their own ig 🤣

what i hate the most is that some bosses and enemies can easily knock you out of your heavy attacks or they go ham on you so you have to use magic.

Then build into being able to see through the enemy and/or time your heavies better? That’s not on the game that you’re getting hit out of your attacks.. it’s meant to punish you for mistiming them.

for the love of all that is holy don't do what i did and avoid the quest after you get off the turtle and go down the hill.... i didn't upgrade my armour until just before the last boss lol. It's like that time i didn't realise you could upgrade shields in elden ring.

Lets address your negatives: - The invisible walls: Yes this does break immersion. For me it wasn't really an issue as I preferred to have the scenery than a big boulder saying I can't go there. I tried, didn't work and I moved on. - The camera: Totally agree. The camera absolutely needs work especially when in a tight space, or when fighting a giant. - The dragon: Its realistic in the sense that a dragon isn't going to just sit down at your level and allow you to pummel it. (what do you think they should have done?) - If you're on a bridge, you should expect to be able to fall off. - Dodging: You can't animation cancel the 4 and 5th moves in the light attack combo. This isn't a game problem, it is the players issue. (I'm not entirely sure about the 3rd move, but you can use resolute strike, or varied combo moves here so I assume you can animation cancel). Not being able to dodge is a result of spamming light attack. its a players problem regardless of how many people are complaining about not being able to animation cancel whenever they want to. This makes sense, you can't commit to something and then cry when you can't evade it. Personally the bosses IMO are really well designed. If a player wants to try to play this like other souls games, they are having issues with their playstyle. The game becomes really fun and quite easy when you start to play according to how the game is designed to be played. When you push against that, you are going to have a hard time.
