He travels by plane, bicycle, kayak, boat, hiking, running, walking, and sometimes by not moving at all. He’s hiding in a swamp, on the Appalachian trail, in his parents house, at a friends house, in a foreclosure house, a hotel, motel, island, overseas, in tree tops, and an underground garden bunker. His parents certainly don't seem to be too concerned about him being alive, or finding him either way, which is rather unusual for parental figures, unless they were aware of his intentions and don't want him found. The date reported missing being a bit off also possibly suggests giving him a head start. I would be curious if they could end up being charged with aiding and abetting if Brian is not found (alive or living challenged), and I suspect that this would be the only motivation behind reporting him missing, to show some minimal effort in pretending to worry about his whereabouts.

The time gaps of Brian being back in Florida with his parents, before anyone knew Gabby was missing (apparently, her parents kept contacting him and his parents looking for Gabby and got no response) then, we know Gabby is missing, but hasn’t been found deceased yet…the Laundrie family ‘goes camping.’ Who knows what they actually did. Brian left for the park ‘to go hiking’ without his previous cell phone, or any ID. That’s not normal. His parents don’t report him missing for days, basically, until they have to, in my opinion. My theory has always been, since he was reported missing (and why were the police not monitoring his movements?!?) is that he has a new ID/identity/papers/passports, and is in South America in a country that doesn’t extradite. His father in recent days came out to help search…I think the screws are being put to the parents on what actually happened before Brian disappeared, and have likely been threatened with charges of obstructing justice, or similar. Brian would be charged with murder if they had enough evidence to prove it…in my opinion, most people know that it is highly likely that he did it, I don’t know if they yet have enough to prove it. LE is keeping things close to the vest on this case. I hope the FBI is looking through the parents bank accounts, and transactions, because, it would not be that difficult for his parents to get him out of the country, particularly as they are near coastal Florida, and a boat could be used, avoiding any issues with airlines going out of the US. But that takes money, so LE/FBI may be looking into that. Also, he was gone into the wind for days before the parents reported him missing…plenty of time to get him out of the country. I think he is very much alive, and in another country, with new ID. I think his parents, in my opinion only, know a lot more than…well, than what is being released to the media. I think the FBI is likely coming down on them pretty hard at this point. Brian appears too narcissistic to commit suicide, and the extended period of time the Laundrie parents and Brian had to obtain documents and transportation before anyone knew he or Gabby were missing, and before he was on any police radar leads me to believe, he’s sitting on a beach in Central or South America, sipping cocktails, watching the news on a new phone, not the one purchased 9/4, and thinking that he’s gotten away with all of this. He likely has. I also don’t think he cares if his parents are in serious trouble with law enforcement, in my opinion only, he only cares about himself. Thanks again, Dr. Grande for a great analysis.

Brian did not go back to Florida to empty a storage locker. I believe he had been threatening to abandon her and carried out that threat as a power play. He knew this would completely terrorize her, as she could not drive the van and was afraid of being alone in the van. Gabby no doubt got in touch with him repeatedly, feeding his need for supply. He then returned, confident that she was frighten ed enough to be happy to see him. The storage locker story was their story to cover up the reason he went back to Florida. He is absolutely a cruel man, revelling in the fact that he had completely humiliated Gabby. Narcissistic to a maximum degree. I am appalled over the fact that their parents covered for him. Particularly given the detail that Brian supposedly drove his Mustang car to the Carlton reserve, and a few days later, due to it getting a ticket threatening it with removal, the parents came to the reserve and drove the car back to their house. I know the car was potentially in danger of removal, but they actually took away their son's only way of driving out of the reserve if he was supposedly camping there. I wonder if there's actually proof that Brian was actually in the Mustang when he drove to the Carlton reserve or if it's possible that the parents actually went over there themselves to drop the car there as a red herring.

@TrehanCreekOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Your timeline of events is excellent and completely true....unlike many who seem to purposefully twist the timing of events to suit their beliefs. As of today, when I am writing this, the body found by the FBI has been confirmed to be Brian Laundrie. It appears he has been dead for very nearly the entire 37 days since he left home and entered the swamp. So, now we know that Brian didn't have a compelling reason to want to continue living since he essentially, packed up, left home, entered a favorite nature area he liked to visit, and committed suicide. He did not really try to run or evade capture so that he could continue living. Basically he saw no way to have a decent future or perhaps to have a life free from guilt and emotions about murdering his companion. Thus he made the decision that his life was no longer worth living. The telling point here is that he made that decision EARLY ON, entering the Reserve 6 days before Gabby's body was even found and only 2 days after her parents reported her missing. Realistically, Brian knew beyond all doubt that a time clock began ticking starting the moment he released his grip on Gabby's throat and left her laying on the ground. That clock was ticking down the minutes of life he had left to live as a free man before he was arrested and forced to face the consequences of his deed. Thus when Gabby was reported missing on 9/11, Brian knew he only had hours left before the jig was up. If he stayed at home, law enforcement would come there and arrest him. If he fled into the woods, they would just send in bloodhounds and track him down. Thus, the only real option that left him in control up to the very end was to end his life on his own terms. So he chose the place, the method, and the time of his death, which were the last acts he was truly ever going to be able to do of his own free will. It is clear Brian had mental issues with control. His problems with Gabby stemmed from his desire to control her. As a "control freak" Brian felt a need to control others and to be in control of his own life. Knowing that he was about to lose control of his own life once the cops arrested him caused him to make the decision to control how his life ended by taking his own life...when HE chose to do so, how HE chose to end it, and where HE chose to die. This whole story is and has always been about control issues. Nothing more.

@@Johnny.Fedora don't know how it is in the US but by law here (UK) anyone charged with a crime but not yet prosecuted by the Crown and proven otherwise, IS considered an innocent man/woman. I mean, you can speculate but you cannot state beyond a doubt, especially in print, that someone is guilty. You would have to say "alleged" or you could be open to a slander or libel suit. Quite rightly. I wholeheartedly agree with "beyond a reasonable doubt" too. If I was a juror and believed in my heart someone was guilty but the prosecution didn't have sufficient evidence I would find them not guilty because of that tiny shadow of doubt. I could be wrong and wouldn't want to send someone to prison for a long time over shitty evidence. Miscarriages of justice happen less and less here now, although they did happen a lot more in the past, because Judges can throw out cases where the evidence doesn't stack up sufficiently. But here we don't have the double jeopardy law so if better evidence is found they can re-try them regardless of a not guilty verdict. It's why the British legal system is held up as the model in all democratic countries. Apparently, statistically it's the fairest. Although, not sure how they worked that out. I know i'd rather be accused and tried here than in America. Not least because your jail's are horrendously violent, your sentences are overlong and you still have capital punishment.

Bottom line, he got away, and there's no use dwelling on this initial fumble. It happens. I do think we're wasting out time worrying about the parents; i would focus more on Brian's internet-forum activity in the months prior to his escape and try to narrow down a set of likely sympathizers. I also think it's useless to listen to his atty. I'm sure the atty is also confident that Brian's nowhere near any park in Florida.. At this point, we just need good investigative police work.

@@joshyelton3898 -- I get that, but... whoever's protecting him is on the hook as an accessory to murder, so those people are already invested in the crime. Maybe I shouldn't be so confident, but I hope the FBI at least rules out any very loyal friends he might have out there. Anyway, I know Brian claims to be outdoorsy, but he's not a dirty / feral person, so he's definitely not living "off the land." And he can't be out and about popping into 7-11s or supermarkets, so that leaves a cabin somewhere (as the most likely possibility, and that points to a collaborator). In the end, it will be interesting to see what really happened... and who's really involved..

This is what I think: On September 13th, that was before anyone started looking for him, he didn't go to the Carlton reserve like his parents said. His parents, who know everything that happened, helped him get away to another country... it could be Mexico, could be any other country... and there are 195 countries in the world. It's going to take a lot of searching.

@@cottontails9003 I am so sorry to hear Julianne. I know how difficult it is.😔 A few things tend to help - ginger, mint, bland foods, and cold foods as opposed to hot foods since cold foods don’t smell too much. You can follow the BRAT diet when you feel poorly, which is composed of banana, rice, applesauce, and toast. Small frequent meals are better than three large meals. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and after meals don’t move around too much. These are some of the advices for morning sickness but everyone is different. You have to love this guy, he's so serious yet comes up with the funniest analogies, LOL!!! A live person wouldn't leave a foot behind in a shoe! There's a video out where his parent's are in the backyard and his mother is bent down handing something to someone and you can actually see something moving. The video is rather blury but she points out the hand. Then Brian's dad looks up at a drone and his mother quickly stands up and they walk away.

I'm convinced his parents helped him escape, I don't know how they can sleep at night seeing the pain Gabby's parents are in.
@ThisAlphaWolf3 жыл бұрын
I'm sure they were able to convince themselves that it was the right thing to do. Was it? Absolutely not. However, we don't even know what Brian has told his parents happened between him and Gabby. There is a good chance that he skewed some of the facts to give his actions the appearance of being justified or warranted, and to avoid the shame he might feel in front of his parents. To be clear, it still does not excuse their behavior. Any of them, frankly. It would simply explain how they are apparently able to continue on with every day when a family whose lives overlapped theirs very recently, struggle to go on with their own. It's a selfish move on their behalf. It spares them from grief, which is probably why they readily accepted whatever explanation he gave them. Somewhere deep down, they probably know that something doesn't add up, yet if that is the case, they willingly went along with it and settled right into a false sense that their son being hunted is somehow unjust. That, in my opinion, is probably how they sleep at night.

I’d like to know what he’s surviving in. He needs food and some form of fuel to heat his campsite and food. Perhaps he’s using a prepaid cash card. Hopefully the FBI is doing forensic accounting and looking at every transaction on the bank records of the parents, siblings , and anyone else who could have helped him. The whole thing is so fishy.

If he's in Florida he doesn't need to heat his campsite. And one does not need to heat food if it's precooked. But I do agree it sounds fishy.

No more fishy than hundred s of cold cases that are never solved. Same kind of shit accompanies most murder investigations. The accused knows the longer time goes by the least likey the prosecutor will ever get it in front of a jury. Just the cold hard facts of American law. Betting this case is never resolved. And what a shame. ,,2 dysfunctional people have just been thrown to the side. Hurts to see it. The potential they could of u had h he in life now just fucked. He was never in the Carlton Reserve. That I believe is a lie and a set up to draw the police off track. Do they actually have proof he was there ? Only by what his parents have said. he went there and they then went to get his car ?? If they weren't with him how did they know where his car was to retrieve it ? He is long gone and is on the run. Once out of state and a few days of not shaving letting his hair grown he can look like a different person ! My option !!!
