This was very good. I would have liked to know the price of each. I really liked the string comparison.

I like carbon. I live in a climate that has fluctuating extremes of dry and wet. I've had wood bow heads literally shoot off. Carbon is so much more resistant.

I won the lottery when I bought a W.E. Hill bow at an antique shop for almost nothing. It is a World above my Two star Klaus Becker bow which could be considered an excellent bow. But, at a lower price level carbon bows are a great option because dollar for dollar they can be better than a "Brazil wood" bow.

Great review, thank you. May I ask the name of the first tune you played? Before Swallowtail... Thank you! (Now that I want both bows...!)

...should be Ashokan Farewell (suggest you try Jay Ungar's version...)

Was that the Ludlows theme you initially played? Great job 😊

You may have wanted to mention that you had a very cheaply made low-tech carbon bow there. We are making high-end carbon bows (ARCUS) since 1999 and our customers are mostly professional players who consider them a huge step up from their wooden bows.
